Being in the hotel business for many years I can be overly critical. But this place is very clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and show great pride in their establishment. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We just needed a comfortable space on our trip up I-5 to spend the night. Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, and cozy room all came together to make it a positive experience. A few minor things were detracting: leaky faucet in bathroom, lack of places to charge our phones and tablets. But overall better than average.

I'm really on the fence on giving this 4 or 5 stars but the awesome breakfast tipped my decision (more on that later). The property is very modern and well kept with a gorgeous lobby, it looked like they were painting the hallways and i think they had just replaced the carpets so they obviously work hard at keeping it up to date. Our room had two queen beds (super comfy) but it was super cramped! I was wedged up against a wall and actually had to crawl out from the bottom instead of the side. This seems to be the norm for many of the newer Fairfields and it's annoying! As if to make up for it though, the bathroom was huge. They do have studio suites and id recommend that if yiu can get one (we hoped we our elite status might get us an upgrade but alas, no). One of the reasons i choose the property was the managers reception: they had draft pale ale and wine and some Chile, bread and cheese. The Chile was truly awful, I'm a big guy and not fussy but i couldn't finish it, the beer was also kind of flat but the wines were tasty The real star here was breakfast. This is one of the only hotels I've stayed at with gluten free bread, they had Udi"s bagels! This was huge for us as one of my daughters has celiac disease. My other daughter is vegetarian and they even had veggie sausages! They also had bacon, 3 different kinds of eggs and waffles. They even had grapes. This is definitely one of the nicer properties in town.

A very nice stay. The room was a little small (no small table, but there was a desk and a easy chair). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The happy hour (mid week only) was great. The location is a little out of town. There is a very good deli within walking distance. Overall I ejooyed my stay a lot.

Reyna was friendly from the beginning! If there wasn't something out, she made sure we knew why and offered an alternative. She made us waffles!! Smiled, friendly, and warm hearted. She does need to work on her selection of NFL teams though...LOL!

my experience at this hotel was pretty good but what made it great was Reyna Castillo she was so amazing to help us and serve us and i never had a breakfast ambassador who treated us like family. she made us feel at home and i wouldnt want to have another breakfast without her

Reyna Castillo ❤️ Hunny, you da' best ❤️ She was so lovely, she served us well, she helped so much and she just had the best of attitudes ❤️ She recognized I was latin and asked me kindly if I speak spanish, after that I really felt like home :)

My wife and I only stayed a night, but it was just what we needed. Room was clean with the bed and pillows so comfy. In the morning, breakfast was simple. Robin, who worked breakfast, was really helpful and friendly towards everybody coming in and going out. If passing through, would definitely choose again.

Convenient location, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Yes, it was the traditional line up of food except for the waffles and the atmosphere. Keyna Castillo provided service and made you feel like family She is a Breakfast Ambassador.

Pet & family friendly! We stayed here because the hotel already had great reviews, they allow pets, have a walking area, breakfast, and we get points. This hotel checked every box for us. The hotel is in a quiet location of Redding. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Excellent value for the price. The grounds have ample lawn areas to walk your dog away from the hotel and traffic. There is ample free parking for cars and large suvs, something many hotels don’t get right. They have cookies, fruit, coffee & tea available. In the lobby are newspapers and the typical snack room of this chain. Breakfast is included making this an easy place to stay for couples, families, and of course people traveling with pets. The bill was correct at checkout which is also a positive. We’ll stay here again when we visit Redding. Great job team Fairfield!
