Family Get away

Fun family property

My family LOVED this home. My two teen boys were able to play ping pong, pac-man, and connect their gaming devices to the tv. They have never been in a basement because of where we live and loved the full experience. They almost didn't want to leave the home and go do tourist things. Cousins came over to play and it was very accommodating. The property had every little detail for our needs, even things I didn't think of. The host was very informative and responsive. You can tell the property is loved and cared for by the thoughtful details in each area. I hope to book this again the next time we come visit family in SD. The price was very reasonable so a family can afford it. Most other places were way overpriced. One day we came home and their was a deer laying in front of the house! Thank you!!!

Long weekend stay

We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice this property was! This was also located in a great location. Given, Rapid City isn’t very large, but this was a really great place to stay! We stayed for a long weekend as our son graduated from South Dakota Mines! We will definitely come back!

Cute, clean and centrally located!

We spent 4 days here and found this place to be perfect for our family of 6 adults. It was cozy, clean and a great location for exploring local trails, parks and the surrounding area. The fenced in backyard was so convenient for our dogs! Adam was great to communicate with and he checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. We will definitely stay here again!

Amazing

The property was very beautiful and extremely clean. The location was great as well. My kiddos loved the downstairs game room area and liked that a park was just across the street. If there was any issues it was taken care of quickly. We deff would stay there again.

Convenient Location

Great place to stay! Across from pretty Canyon Lake park. Great hub for visiting Mt. Rushmore and Devils Tower. Very clean and as described. Only negative for us was traffic noise being on a main road.

Terrific!

What a terrific little getaway. The owners clearly spent considerable effort making this house feel welcoming and functional, and their communication was top-notch. There's a lovely park right across the street, and we had an easy time getting to both the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore. My kids also loved the ping pong table in the basement, and we all enjoyed the cozy living space just off the kitchen for food and games.

Excellent

The property was overall excellent. Nice backyard for dogs to run in. Central location - 20 minutes to an hour from everything; Custer State Park, the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, etc. Devil's Tower is about a 2 hour drive, but worth it. We would stay again! Adam is excellent in his communication. Check-in is easy.

Awesome location!

My family of four stayed here for a week. This is a great location - not too far from groceries, restaurants, the National Parks, etc. Very easy check in process and communication with Adam. We enjoyed the park across the street as well. Would definitely stay here again if we were to head back to Rapid City.

Great spot in Rapid City!

Cute house and great location !! Directly across the street from the lake and park!! The backyard is fully fenced which was perfect for my pups…wish the grass had been mowed though…pretty overgrown in the front and back. There is no direct access to the backyard from inside the house. Basement is set up perfectly for all sorts of gaming fun!! Comfortable beds and furniture! No doubt I’ll be back!

Spring Break

We came to enjoy all the local hikes and reconnect with some friends who are still stationed here. We really enjoyed having a nice house to spread out in and be able to cook our meals. The house is in a great location. We all enjoyed the ping pong table and games that were available

Rapid City Stay

Very cute property. Very well appointed. Ping pong table and separate game room were really cool to relax with family. Beds a tad stiff for my personal taste, but does not detract from the appeal of the house. Could use bigger night stands next to beds. Loved how well stocked the kitchen was…very much appreciated with 5 adults. Really really enjoyed the stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location with good accessibility to everything in town. Easy access to park across the street (although right on a busy street). Room for 2 families. Well stocked house from the port-a-crib to the extra towels and cooking spices.

Delightful Location

Our stay was a little unorthodox as we were moving to Rapid City and needed a stay over before our "permanent" location was available. We had a wonderful time! The Ping Pong table was a highlight. We even referred to the house as the "Ping Pong House". There is a TV in each bedroom as well as the living room and family room downstairs. Washer and Dryer was great as well as the fact that we could use the garage, which I was not expecting. The owners were super fast on communication and very accommodating on our requests. Location wise: be aware, you're on Jackson Blvd so it's a little loud but you absolutely can't beat the proximity to Canyon Lake Park and Canyon Lake. The area is SO walkable and we enjoyed our time here thoroughly! We also enjoyed the nice grill that was available. I would say that the beds are a 2 out of 5 stars. They were soft but almost too soft. Also the bed frames in general just seemed creeky and "rickety". That is my only complaint on the property. If you are wondering if this location right for you, let me just save you some time and say YES! Book it! Between ownership, amenities, and location, this is a delight of a VRBO!
