The hotel is beautiful with nicely manicured grounds. They do NOT have EV charging. The staff was nice. The main issue we had was the smell in our room. We were only there for one night so I did not ask to change rooms. It had a terrible old, musty smell. When we entered the room, the air conditioner was turned off so I am not sure if that was the issue but the smell never went away. I honestly thought it smelled like a dirty diaper. I searched the room and under the beds but never found the source of the smell. The toilet also immediately clogged when my child used it so I wonder if the room maybe flooded before and the smell was the carpet?

The surrounding gardens and green areas are beautiful (and will be even more so when Spring really gets underway). We had a good stay there, rooms were very nice and staff is helpful. Breakfast is great.

I've stayed here a few times before. It is a wonderful place for respite. Some hotels offer free breakfast that is mediocre. Rizzo has the best free breakfast anywhere. It's a great property to explore history and nature. Only problem? The heating was a little difficult to get right.
