Nice hotel. Nothing fancy but the room had a mini kitchen and a big bathroom. The best best thing about this property is its right on the beach. Id definitely stay here again. Cost vs amenities you cant beat it.

This location was amazing! We just walked to the park from there. It made it less stressful. We just played at the beach right outside the hotel and loved the pool after each time. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and there were several monkeys around. This was our favorite place we stayed the whole trip. I would choose this location again if we went back.

Location of this hotel right on a fantastic beach is prime attraction for us. This was our second time choosing a 10 day stay at Hotel Verde to finish off our Costa Rica vacation. The friendly staff very helpful also to help out with travel and other arrangements.

The beach was a minute walk from our room. There are a few trees (with monkeys and birds in them) you walk by and then the beach. The hotel was so cute and all the staff were friendly and nice.

A small basic room with no TV, or safe, but they did have a lock box if you have a lock. The staff were all nice and it’s perfect for families with young kids. They love the pool. The proximity to the beach was great!

Absolutely perfect hotel! The wildlife, staff and accommodations were fantastic. Many different tourists, from around the world, and even the guests were kind and friendly. It is not a fancy hotel but we ate at expensive (“exclusive “) hotel restaurants at times and Hotel Verde Mar was a WAY better of experience overall. Just fabulous!

The beach access sold it for us. We really enjoyed hanging out on the beach and then swimming in the pool in the evenings. My kids took surf lessons. Quick access to MA park. We saw monkeys on the property! Had a nice time!
