Hotel located just a few minutes walk from a long, beautiful beach with many options for activities at reasonable prices. Rent boogie boards at $10 per day, surf boards $20 to $25. Walk to Manuel Antonio Park. Public bus to Quepos stops at immediate front of hotel. Restaurants within walking distance too. Groceries within 7 minute bus ride from hotel. Rooms were clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast had 4 options and all were very good. Air conditioning made sleeping at night comfortable. Our family of 7 was comfortable in 2 rooms with bunks. No, it’s not a 5 star hotel , but if you are looking for clean rooms, great location, super nice staff, a good breakfast and a value price- look no further. Pool was small but adequate but why swim in pool when you have an incredible beach steps away. Our first trip to Costa Rica but would certainly stay again. The owner was sitting in for one of his front desk persons one night and was so nice as to answer countless questions about life is Costa Rica. No, this is not a paid advertisement- Ha. Would recommend.

The staff were kind but the property was horrible. Our room smelled of mold and sewage. They seemed to be mopping up something on the stairs and our room smelled all night. The location is convenient to the beach and park, 10-15 min walk along the road. Beds very hard. Breakfast was decent

Nice property, with pool, AC, good water, good beds, helpful and friendly staff. 2 minutes walk across the street to the beach. Monkeys swing by in the early morning, and you're likely to see a couple hanging around almost any time. About the only thing I could ask for is more light for reading in bed before sleeping. However, I ran into this at every place of my stay, and this one had a small bedside lamp, so better, but not really usable for that type of situation. My headlamp was put to use for this more than anything else.

The hotel is budget but it has character, good location for the beach and extremely helpful and kind staff.

Very helpful owner, great location close to the beach and park but the beds seemed about 30 years old - that combined with traffic noise I hardly slept.

i could not stay again..Bed very uncomfortable, springs sticking up in our backs. parking area is tight. Food was just ok. this place could use some updating to be better. beach is across the street however no chairs available for hotel clients. no beach towels available either. Front desk staff was nice.

Everything about the hotel is just wonderful. The room was quite large and very pleasant to be in; the bed was quite comfortable; and the breakfast was one of the best I have had in CR! Had a wonderful stay. Its not a budget hotel but I consider this as one of the best deals in town.

The hotel was great. You are in the Jungle and we heard Howler monkeys all night and saw capuchin monkeys in the afternoon stealing the sugar packets from the tables. The location was fantastic. A block from the beach and three or four blocks from the center of town and a couple more blocks from the Manuel Antonio National Park where we saw, five sloths and monkeys up close and a deer. In town we saw a mother and baby sloth and a coatimundi and iguanas of course. We never moved our car. There is jetskiing (which was the best jetskiing I've ever done) and parasailing and umbrellas and chairs to rent. Plenty of small grocery stores to get a can of cold beer throughout the day. With the hotel you really felt exotic. Breakfast was very good and it had a small pool. Parking was tight, but it worked and the stairs would be hard on the very elderly. The first block into town had no sidewalks so just be careful. In late April when we went it rained every late afternoon. Spend two or three nights.
