Rooms are adequate, but the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. We had the worst breakfast of our trip so went elsewhere the second day. The restaurant is a large room dominated by a large tv screen belting out loud pop music, during our stay we never saw anybody eating lunch nor dinner, so there is clearly a problem in this area.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 days & we loved it! Jorge was very helpful with anything of our need. They have a golf cart 24/7 to get you to your room which is very convenient. The bar makes awesome drinks. Can’t wait to stay here again.
We have enjoyed this hôtel with good prestations and services. The rooms are quite nice with a small terrasse to view the park. A nice swiming pool and an outdoor restaurant with good food. Andres was very service oriented and always " happy face "despide our poor english.. A little noise during the day because of the road going to the park passing by the place, but ok during the nigth. We had good cocktails almost cheaper than water in bottle. Pura Vida ;-)
Great location, easy to catch the bus into Manuel Antonio or Quepos for cheap travel to the national park / shops. Room was comfy and cool and the pool had good views with the local lizards providing entertainment. Highlight was the service at Bambu Jam, great food for a great price and the servers were really fantastic - muchas gracias to Georci especially!
As most reviews I've done for Costa Rica places the people here are funny and very friendly. The food was really nice but the price was a bit higher then we hoped. Nevertheless the place is great with free pool or some small board games to do while waiting for food.
Nice place to stay for visiting Manuel Antonio park, it is at the beginning of the street. Beautiful swimming pool and view. In the surround we see a lot of animals. Big and fancy rooms and kind staff (especially Jorge was very nice to answer at our questions). Booking the tour to the park with them was a little bit more expensive but the guide was very very good and let us to see a lot of animals in there).
I was given a very small, dark, damp horrible room despite paying the tour a lot of money for a single room. I was very upset at the standard of the room but was dealt with very well by the staff in the end. They were very nice but were only able to upgrade me on the 3rd and last night as the hotel was full. This is a 1 or 2* hotel at most which is a shame as the grounds are lovely. There is a small pool with friendly bar staff. The restaurant staff varied from being very miserable to not being able to do enough for you. The same with the food, sometimes it was great, sometimes it was awful. Well situated hotel with bus stops right outside the hotel to take you into the two main towns. What a shame the hotel accommodation is so dreadful.
We had a great time at this hotel, it was quiet and the rooms were nice. They even do laundry service, which was cheap. I would recommend walking the 250 steps to the observation room. the sunset was amazing from there. the restaurant was good as well.,
I am giving this three star hotel a four star because of its excellent service, attention to our comfort and our needs. They were fantastic... We had no reservations and we were treated like special guests! Breakfast is OK ... And not for foodies. Drinks are good and view at mirador is spectacular!!!! Perfect for families. Rooms are large and clean! I loves the old wooden windows and I wish they still has the tram going up the hill... That would be super cool! Even though I prefer a higher standard ... I would definitely recomend this ace to others. Great price!
My family ended up staying at the Tabulia Tree hotel after leaving a nearby hotel that was run down, and smelled, and didn't have food the night we arrived. The Tabulia Tree was like heaven in comparison. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms clean and comfortable, we stayed in a villa which had plenty of room for all of us, and a patio with beautiful views. We saw a pair of macaws, monkeys, iguanas, frogs, and lots of other wildlife while we were there. The staff was amazing! They helped us with everything we needed with a smile, even found us a great fishing trip on Christmas Day. The restaurant was always open when we needed it. The food was amazing, the staff there friendly, price was more than fair for the quality. My kids played pool in the restaurant for hours. Only down side was how close it is to the main road. I wear earplugs so was not an issue for me. Well worth all of the plusses. Price is great!
