From the moment we arrived, everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. Aaron, Ronnie, Carlos and others whose names I don’t know were willimoyo go an extra step to make sure our stay went smoothly. It was hot and humid and the swimming pool was refreshing and the air conditioning worked well.

Very nice property with best possible location. All staff was kind and helpful. Rooms are not big or fancy but perfectly clean, with working fan and AC.

We loved the location right near the entrance to Manuel Antonio. This was ideal, as the purpose of our stay was to get in and out of the park without much difficulty.

HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR HEALTH! We walked into the room and found BLACK MOLD with live spores covering half of the wall, dirty sheets, dirty towels, a dirty bathtub, a broken toilet (literally, a giant crack on the top of the toilet), dirty floors, run down amenities, and overall it felt like we were renting a per-hour motel. The pool reeked of chlorine. In a fair attempt to let this pass, I asked the manager on duty if there was another room open. He took me there and inside smelled horribly of chlorine, the beds were messy, and the sheets and towels again looked used. Needless to say, we left and went looking for another hotel in town. Until they clean up their act, I wouldn't bother staying here. Maybe a dip in business will either help them decide they don't belong in hospitality or they can clean up their rooms to reflect the price they are asking. It's one thing to be a hotel that offers standard and basic amenities, it's another to be outright disgusting and violating health concerns.

When we arrived they did not have our reservations and were told that Expedia had booked someone else for that night. The staff was very accommodating and took us across the street and booked us into the San Bado Hotel for the night charging us the same price that we were quoted at La Posada. I can't say enough about how helpful and friendly they were. We enjoyed our stay. The location couldn't have been any better. We were at the entrance to the park and only a few blocks from the beach. The breakfasts were included and were delicious.

We stayed at La Posada and Jungle in March, 2017 with our children, ages 6 and 8. We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms, which was basic, but nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions - we were even encouraged to take some of the pool toys to the beach and they willingly provided clean beach towels frequently. The breakfast was very quick and laid back. My youngest daughter especially loved all the animals that visited the courtyard (deer, monkey, iguana, more) and would wake up early to go sit and wait for them to come around. My only negative feedback is that I think that I overpaid for the room. Looking at their rate charts, we paid more through Orbitz than through the rate listed on the website. I think this is due to the fact that we booked early and since they have been undergoing renovations may have changed the pricing structure and/or their direct rates were not listed on their website when we booked, because I know I would have looked into this and booked directly through the hotel.

Thank you very much for your review, courious how you founded all this problems with only 20 minutes stayed in our hotel, Normally when guests book with us and are not happy with what they are getting they let us know in a good mode, we try to solve any issue in their rooms or exteriors, this was not your case, unfortunately your intetion since the begining was leave, and thats fine, not everybody likes the close nature interaction. When we showed a second room obviously was not cleaned yet, was just to show you how was the room, sad that you used all our good intentions to critic us. Hope you had a great stay in other place. Best regards,
