Traffic noise no elevator very nice staff xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Very Authentic, probably fine for the area but felt minimal coming from Colorado.

We took recommendation from friends during our first trip to Puerto Vallarta. the location was great location, near lots of the activities, restaurants, in the walkable part of Zona Romantica part of old city. Hotel was clean and basic. We didn't do much but sleep, and get coffee in lobby. If you desire bigger rooms, they had them - but our small room was fine. They cleaned hotel daily. Good common spaces with pool, several patios. Lots of water to refill bottles. We are already plotting next trip back to PV and plan to stay here again.

Fantastic downtown location. Beautiful view from the room balcony's. Very clean rooms. Nice big showers with plenty of pressure. Cold bottled drinking water on every level.

I had a huge quad room with kitchenette to myself. There was no table and chairs like I saw in the other rooms. Tile is cracked, dirty windowsill in bathroom, no towels or blankets when I got to the room. Tile counter severely cracked in kitchen. No microwave only a fridge and camping stove. Windows in room had broken glass and dirty windows, low security on door handles, main door is cheap, sunbaked, and hollow core. Very low security. Door to street had huge gaps letting smog from the busy highway outside in. Woke up to exhaust fumes. Beds were cheap and hard. The staff is friendly.

The hotel was ok, but not as nice as I was expecting. For the price, it was adequate. If you want more comfort then you should try somewhere else. On the holiday weekend, it was $40 cheaper than the next lowest price hotel and $90 cheaper than the next hotel on the price list, so it saved me a lot of money and that made me happy. But if the price discrepancy isn't that much, I would stay at another hotel. On the plus side, the hotel staff was very good and the location is great.

The traffic past this hotel is intense, starting about 5:30 am and continuing until about 10:00 pm. Many buses without mufflers, lots of cars squeaking past over the cobblestones, so sleep is restricted. It is impossible to listen to music etc. on the balcony during the day. The room is modest, the price is on par with Canadian prices for equivalent accommodation. I suggest finding a quieter hotel.

We selected this hotel because it was in Old Town, nestled in a neighborhood, close to beach, and all the places we like to visit when in Puerto Vallarta. We were looking for a homey feeling and it delivered. We were definitely among the community. The hotel was reminiscent of days gone by, so if you looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you.

Actually got lost coming down from the fourth floor, ended up in a kitchen!

This hotel is close to everything, the shops the restaurants and everything. If your staying here you dont really need a vehicle

Although there were some missteps, notably AC, wifi and power, the staff did everything possible to correct within a reasonable time. Gold stars for the front desk staff whose pleasant demeanor and care made the stay pleasant. Location could not be beat relative to eating places and the beach and center of PV.

Hotel is located in the heart of the Zona Rosa on a very busy intersecton with easy access to all kinds of shops & restaurants. Very clean, simple, and well worn but comfortable room & bed. Somewhat confusing the stairs to the upper floors. A nice pool which gets very little sun, so it is cold the times I have stayed there. Good if you are a snow bird & like a brisk swim on a hot day. A good value for what you get. Ear plugs are helpful if you get a room on the street, which many are being on a busy corner. Much cheaper than lessor quality hotels nearer Playa de los Muertos. Sal Camacho P.S. I come to Puerto Vallarta every year for over 12 years & it is one of my favorate places in Mexico, especially the Zona Rosa.
