Clean

staff was amazing and the food was TOOO die for

Management raised the rates beyond reason this year won’t return ever again after 10 trips here

Too quiet and less activities to do

Nice place to stay

This was my first all inclusive visit. It was amazing. The food was beyond amazing. The service was perfect. My wife and I have never been treated as good as we were here.

Don’t get my wrong the staff were super nice and the property was quiet, clean and relaxing. My only complaint from my family was the food options and menu. I been to a different resort with far better food options and not just fine dining or whatever it was. Also I wish they would give you an activity calendar directly when checking in to stay on top on what they had going on versus going to the sports counter ! I wouldn’t stay more than 2-3 nights there. My fault for booking it longer and not checking their menus. Other than that great place !

I liked everything! It was pure delight from begins to end. private round transportation from the airport, Liza at front desk arranged all activities and dinners, very well organized, quiet live jazz music at the terrace. Employees are all friendly and relax. Attention to detail on STEROIDES Any little thing you may need not a worry it is there waiting for you, no needs of asking. Food is NEXT LEVEL , i did have my own " Ratatouille" experience if youlike pastries and desserts you will be on heaven

This was my second time at Grand Residence and I must say the experience was even better than the first. The service , the staff, the food was all high quality . I just wish they had more restaurants on the grounds but I think the new project will bring all that. For the people who are contemplating on going to GR, don’t contemplate no more and just go. The place truly caters to families , young couples and people 50 . You can also end up making some great friends. I want to personally thank Jose, Patricia, Illiana , and my boys Miguel and Maui . Thank you everyone for making our 2nd experience with you even better !!

Property was great overall. Seemed they are still in process of getting fully staffed. Sometimes dinner ran to almost three hours but staff really were working hard. Some things were inconsistent likely due to over worked staff. Sometimes there was turndown service sometimes not. Sometimes we were brought water etc when setting up outside sometimes not. Fridge stocked sometimes others not. Some computer software problems caused a lot of communication issues when setting airport travel and antigen test results. Overall great food and service though.

The staff was very attentive to us and were prompt in attending to all of our requests. The resort is extremely quite, clean, and well managed. It is the last property on the road and the last resort on the beach. The beach was well maintained and always clean. The pool areas and beach lounge area were thoroughly cleaned and put in order every night. The restaurant staff and beachside service was incredible. The concierge service was excellent. They assisted with information for some day excursions and tours and lined up all of the necessary transportation. We told our concierge, Marcella, to keep our names on our beach lounge chairs and umbrella, because we are coming back!

We arrived at the property thinking that we had paid for an all-inclusive stay for 4 days. Turns out it was for accommodations only, no food and beverage included. This is our fault for not reading the fine lines. However, what really upset us is the attitude of the front desk receptionist named Alejandro. Not once did he smile or give off a welcoming vibe throughout the whole check-in process. He was very blunt and dry about the fact that we need to pay an extra fee per person per night for the entire stay and did not want to make the experience any pleasant. We've been to a number of other resorts in Mexico and this was the first (and hopefully the last) time we were treated this way. He obviously did not enjoy working there or didn't want to bother with a smile. We also found it very difficult to get a server to take our orders while we were out on the beachfront, by the pool, or even anywhere on the property. There is just a handful of servers that seemed to cater mostly to their timeshare members. We had to wait at least 30 minutes for someone to come (if we were lucky), or no one at all. Also, all the bars close at 5pm, which means there's no one at or before 4:30pm. No food, no drinks, nothing. We did the research prior to going and knew that this is more of a family-friendly property and is very quiet at night. However, it would've helped us tremendously had we known that 5pm really means 430pm or earlier, and that servers aren't really there for regular vacationers

Orbitz screwed up my reservation and refused to fix it. Cost me and my wife $1000 more...never again.

New, clean, impeccable service, not too noisy, family friendly classy

This hotel is in a totally different league. Their attention to details is amazing, both in the public area and inside the suites. I think some details aren’t well presented in the property description at Orbitz. When it talks about the room size o should also mention the almost 12’ ceiling resulting in experiencing it as much larger. It should also mention the HUGE balconies that’s also part of each suite. The only area where the hotel can improve is in the Spa area. It’s lacking the usual amenities you’d expect at a 5 star resort. (Though I believe the spa will be expended when the additional 3 buildings will be complete) I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone, especially with families to experience this hotel. Once you come here you’ll for sure wanna come again. I will!!

It was very classy and felt like a five star hotel. I do wish they would have offered kayaks and other water sports. The drink service stopped at 5pm which I also felt was early and there was no nightlife. It was an outstanding place to go for a relaxing vacation. The staff and facility are top notch.
