Stayed for business recently. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was soft. Quiet room with the usual amenities. Location is so-so with limited food anywhere close. This is important when you arrive late and Skip the Dishes is done for the day. Parking was a challenge as I had a vehicle that needed extra room so I parked in a restaurant parking lot across the way. Long term is not viable option. I'd stay again if booked by my employer.
Biggest snowstorm in 30 years and when we all finally arrived, the kitchen was getting close to closing. The staff did an incredible job trying to accommodate us, went above and beyond. The room was very comfortable.
Nothing special about this place - typical remote Sheraton. Looks like it’s stuck in the 1980’s. Clean rooms, thin walls and lots of hallway noise. Friendly staff, and basics accommodations, nothing more. Overall, average
A group of us were in Prince George for a meeting and nice place to stay. The location was good, the service at the lobby and restaurant was excellent. The only drawback was that I was not told the restaurant was closed on Sundays and had to go somewhere else for supper. Would recommend this for family or business stay as there is a pool, hot tub, fitness room
Where to start. Upon check in for a 3 day stay l learned they didn't have a reservation for me, which I found funny as when I called, I tried to book two reservations one for last week, which they had no availability and this week for which they took my credit card to hold the room. The clerk called her manager and they could give me a room for tonight but they were full for Tuesday night and Wednesday night. I took the room and found another hotel for the next two nights. Upon entry I dropped my bags and headed for the restaurant which doubles as a breakfast bar. I should have taken that hint and walked away. Too tired to leave the premise I had a seat and order the calamari and chicken teriyaki stir fry. Both arrived at the same time and while the calamari was ok the stir fry swimming in the sauce was unappealing. The price was alright but I really didn't eat any of the stir fry with frozen veggies, other than the rice on top which hadn't hit the sauce. Return to the room and check it out. There is short black hair on the bathroom floor which isn't from my head. It's in the floor in the tub and when I pull the curtain back to inspect further I find a dirty bath mat. I took a picture of the bathroom floor as the grout is disgusting. Sadly the picture is not reflecting the color (dirt) difference. White is a terrible choice for grout. Tomorrow I am out of here and on to another hotel. I will NEVER set foot in this place again. Funny I booked here as some co-workers raved about this hotel. Perhaps I should invite them to my room. Not sure if I will sleep in.or on the bed tonight. Actually my truck looks quite appealing at this point. Haha get it Point? I have never written a review this bad, but I have also never found a hotel with such poor overall service.
I have stayed in a few places here in town and this is my preferred place to stay. It's comfortable, clean, spacious and consistent in what I expect from this establishment. I recommend it to people I know who are looking for a place to stay in town.
I stayed here twice within 1 week. The location was excellent right at the junction of two highways and beside several restaurants. The front desk was very helpful and the suite was large and clean. There were a couple of interesting points though; the restaurant was not open Sundays which was surprising; breakfast on weekends is at 8 am not at 715 am like the room service card states; and I asked for a quiet room and was twice placed right beside the ice machine which contrary to what I was told was constantly running. It was quiet in the bedroom but really annoying watching tv. Overall a good spot with just a couple of points to be aware of.
This is my go to place when i have to travel to PG...either business or pleasure. But this time, they put me in a room on the first floor. Room next to me was the office and just 3 rooms down from the dining room. Which normally is ok cos im up early enough. But on my travel day i wanted to sleep in a bit, but couldn't. Someone in thr office decided to whistle while they work at 7, and i could hear all the dining room traffic. One other thing, ice machine on 1st floor was not working well and the pop machine only had water and power drinks. On the positive side, room was clean as usual. Ordered room service for supper, food was prompt and hot and delicious! Im just not going to stay on the 1st floor anymore. :)
Rooms are not very big, good enough for 2 adults and 1 kid. Good for short stay. Lobby is clean. Housekeeping staffs are good and sincere. There is a small pool. Front desk agent Curtis was very nice and helpful. Only thing hotel must have a 24hrs security.
My Hubby and I stayed here for 1 night. Let me tell ya...this place is nice. Our room was very spacious. It contained a king sized bed as well as two comfortable chairs. The bed was a little hard, which wasn't a problem for us but could be for some. The bathroom was like a basic bathroom, nothing special. There was also a mini fridge but no microwave. The building itself is beautiful and well kept. The front desk staff were all really friendly and helpful. While waiting for the elevator the next morning, a housekeeper asked me to hold some towels fro her which of course I did. The world needs more nice people. We go a chuckle out of this and she was super nice. Overall, we would recommend this hotel.
