Not really what I expected. The door to the balcony didn't close properly; the bathtub has spots where the paint was worn out, the TV service stopped working, there was a piece of wood (panel) in the top shelf of the closet covering a whole.

The room amenities lacked. There were no luggage racks so our suitcases sat on the floor during our four night stay. There was an ironing board but no iron. The hairdryer didn’t work and I asked for a replacement that was never replaced so I had to go buy one. There were cracks in the tub so the water got underneath the skin of the tub and it felt like you were standing on a squishy pillow. One morning there was no hot water for the shower. No notification about this but when we inquired at the front desk we were told they were working on the boiler. The lobby held it’s beautiful history but unfortunately with the lack of the room amenities we will not stay there in the future.

Hotel Melia is in a great location. We loved the restaurants and coffee bars within short walking distance. But our balcony room had no hot water and was very noisy, due to the Carnaval Ponceno festivities in the.plaza below. The music from the concerts, which went on until almost 1:00 a.m., was so loud that the walls and windows vibrated.

I would call this a boarding house. Good for 1 night . Its clean and we’ll kept. However the bathrooms are closets converted into a bathroom. Sitting on the toilet you will find your knees under the sink!! Additionally, most rooms overlook a courtyard which is noisy 24/7 .. so if you’re looking for quiet.. this place isn’t it. Parking on-site is first come first serve so not guaranteed!!

Los cuartos Pensé que por el nombre Melia” debía ser de muy buena categoría, si le hicieron algunas renovaciones, pero ya tienen tiempo y las hicieron con el presupuesto más bajo que encontraron! Da asco bañarse y no por sucio Está tan viejo el baño que las marcas no las pueden borrar la bañera pintada a brocha y la marca de sucio no sale !!! Renovaron algo pero con equipo de Ikea enserio podría decir mil cosas pero pues resuelve para una emergencia!

PROS - Buena ubicación, el área de la piscina estaba limpia. CONS - El cuarto NO estaba en buenas condiciones, comenzando por la puerta principal la cual no tenía cerradura, solo un seguro que hasta mi niño podía abrir con facilidad. La puerta del baño no tenía seguro, la puerta del closet estaba rota y la puerta que daba al balcón solo tenía un pestillo por lo cual es insegura al tener niños pequen̈os. La plancha estaba inservible, al ir a la recepción a llevarla buscaron otra en un cuarto que tienen y al menos funcionó. Los empleados se disculparon por el inconveniente. El lugar no tiene seguridad o al menos no vimos a nadie vigilando. La habitación no tenía zafacon y nunca fueron a hacer el servicio al cuarto. El lugar necesita mantenimiento.

Dont stay here unless you want to have a horror night with mentally illbemployees arguing with you about the room cleaning, the air conditioner was firty and gave me a headache mattress blood stains no hot water,no vaccum the floors overall worth $10 a night.
