Cosas para hacer
Ponce ofrece una gran cantidad de actividades para hacer durante su estadía. Aquí hay una lista de sus principales atracciones:
1. Muelle de La Guancha: se puede visitar durante la semana, pero realmente brilla en el fin de semana. Alimenta grandes cardúmenes de peces en el muelle o disfruta de opciones culinarias en toda la zona. Una visita al faro es imprescindible.
2. Isla Caja de Muerto: Reserva natural desde 1980, este hermoso paraíso toma su nombre de los conquistadores españoles quienes, al mirar la isla desde lejos, dijeron que parecía un ataúd, de ahí su nombre en español. Snorkel, kayak y paddle son las atracciones aquí, y la playa Pelican es difícil de superar aquí en el sur. Para llegar, los barcos salen del muelle de La Guancha a las 8:30 a.m., pero recomendamos estar allí al menos 1 hora antes. Reserva antes de llegar; muy recomendado.

El vecindario
Los Caobos es el área urbana más céntrica de Ponce. Literalmente, todas las atracciones principales están entre 7 y 15 minutos. La estación de policía principal de Ponce está a solo una cuadra de distancia y es también el Supermercado más grande. Las farmacias y tintorerías también están cerca, por lo que es un lugar muy conveniente para quedarse.

Moverse
Se recomiendan alquileres ya que es probable que su estadía lo lleve a diferentes lugares de la isla. Por lo tanto, reservarlos con antelación antes de la llegada. Como llegar aqui
Los Caobos está ubicado en la carretera # 1 justo al lado de la estación de policía en la carretera # 52. Si maneja desde el norte (si llega al aeropuerto Luis Muñoz Marin, está manejando desde el norte) tome la carretera # 52 todo el camino hacia el sur hasta que pase las enormes letras "PONCE" que le dan la bienvenida a la ciudad. Tome la siguiente salida y estará en Los Caobos. Si viene del sur (Mayagüez), tome la cuarta salida después del peaje.
