I remembered Benny Hill Splendid Hôtel sketch

I have traveled Canada, USA, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, etc...this Golden Gate Lodging in Plattsburgh NY is the worst Room I have Seen: Advertising picture shows a very Little part of the Room....tv don't work...router hangs beside tv...Heater Works but stops after 15 min... Windows dirty...cabinets must be 50 y o....only one chair to seat...no desk...no phone to contact réception...nothing to hang our clothes...you must hold toilet papier roll...bedsheets are cheap ..+++...Stairs are littered with food...

Very pretty little private beach. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Only problem was that we could hear a sump pump going most of the night.

Nice and comfortable. Full size refrigerator, stove, coffee ☕️ maker, cooking pots and pans. Private beach and a beautiful sunrise just behind the parking lot. Instead of driving, I did a lot of walking to the downtown and to a local mall.
