We stayed at the hotel while on a weekend getaway to visit the Pittsburgh Children's Museum. The hotel was clean, the pool was warm, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was free. We asked the staff at the desk one night where to eat and were encouraged to go to SoHo. It is right across the street and the recommendation was spot on! We had a nice view of the city and bridge. We would stay here again. The room was very quiet and I felt safe.
Nice location. Lots to do within walking distance. Great customer service. The room was clean. Nice breakfast. I would stay again for sure! The view was awful but, it didn't really matter to me. I felt safe here.
Location is very close to Heinz Field. Parking lot on sight. Very good buffet breakfast with numerous choices. Items on the menu changed daily. Right across the street from the Pirates ballpark. Nice view at least from my room.
We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express North Shore last Saturday. Amber at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. I had called her earlier while on the road and asked if we could check in early and she said that a room was available. Amber had our room keys ready for us at 1.30 PM and upgraded us to a suite. She gave us advice on where to go and told us about the free shuttle to get us to the casino and restaurants (although we were able to walk almost everywhere). Our room was big, modern, and spotless with a comfortable king bed. The hotel was close to many bars with outdoor seating that we enjoyed all afternoon. We walked over the Clemente bridge to Six Penn for a rooftop dinner and enjoyed the incredible setting. We took the free T subway to the Rivers Casino and later took a taxi back to the hotel since the hotel shuttle only ran until 11 PM. (taxi was only $6 for 4 people) The breakfast buffet was better than average with hot cinnamon rolls, omelets, sausage and pancakes. We had a great time and would stay at the Holiday Inn North Shore again!
Rooms clean and staff was amazingly helpful. Dan and Nadia went out of their way numerous times during our visit. Plenty of dining places around the stadium and all within a short walk. Convenient parking right next door.
We loved the location of this hotel for a weekend of baseball and football games. PNC park is literally steps away, and Heinz Field was about a 10 minute walk. There are numerous restaurants, bars and pubs, within a couple block radius. The Roberto Clemente bridge was also within short walking distance. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was clean and well appointed. Free breakfast is always a plus for us...basic, but does the job. We have zero complaints about our stay. We would highly recommend this property, especially if you are taking in a Pirates or Steelers game!!
The room was a great value. It was a block away from PNC Field where we took in a Pirates game. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was delicious and filling. My 6 and 11 year old sons were very satisfied.
stayed 1 night. - usually stay at Hyatt, but they were booked. Very pleased with hotel and room. Only down side was parking, not included in rate, $23 /day. No indication to pull into parking garage and use call button to have hotel let you in. this information should be emailed to guests prior to arrival. Also exiting garage was confusing as Pitt game saturday and being misdirected. Hotel room was nice, has fridge, microwave. No safe? Nice breakfast included, good options for healthy eating. Nice pool, friendly people
The staff is very friendly and professional. They are all very knowledgeable about the area and are always happy to offer guidance on area activities and restaurants. Rooms very clean and spacious. Shuttle service available to local area places such as Rivers Casino, with great driver. PNC park right across the street and Heinz Field is just a 10 minute walk
Unusually knowledgeable front desk staff. Needed a recommendation for a jeweler to repair a watch band. Got two places to check out that I would never have found otherwise. Clean rooms and spacious bathroom. Modern Spartan room decor, but perfectly adequate. Better than average complimentary breakfast. Shower is typical low pressure, but gets the job done. Even water temperature, no freezing or scalding. I liked the niche shelf in the shower for the small bottles. Vanity lighting better than expected. TV remote a little temperamental, just wave it a bit and it will work. Hotel directly across the street from PNC Park. Couldn't have asked for more for the price.
