Hotel was in a bad part of town. Check in took too long.

Picture doesn't show the road which is unpaved. No breakfast, housecleaning or pool access. Rough sheets. Deserted: 1 or 2 cars.

We always stay here when we go visit family in Picayune. The owner and staff are always extremely courteous and go out of their way to help in any way they can.Its always quite at this establishment and close to convenience stores and restaurants. I would highly recommend a stay here if you’re ever in Picayune.its not the Holiday Inn but just as clean and comfortable here and as I said the staff and owner go out of their way to be helpful and always respectful and friendly.

The room seems very old and needs to be updated. I was able to see the sun light coming through the door which is a bad thing because that means BUGS have full access to the room as well. I had reservations to stay again in July but I have recently cancelled them due to the condition of the rooms. OK to stay in for a one night stand, but I would NEVER have my family stay in the hotel.

It is easy to get to and tucked back behind some buildings and far enough from the over pass the Interstate road noise is NOT an issue. I will stay here again if I am in the area.

Extremely pleased..The rooms have been redone, new carperting, new bedding, security cameras installed to cover the outside and parking lot..I have to say my husband and myself have been staying here since 2009 and we were even more pleased this time,no loud noises, people yelling and carrying on through the night, very quite and peaceful stay.

That this isn't going to be pretty. The parking lot you enter has pot holes you need to dodge and don't forget about the yellow giant concrete divider block? Upon entering I asked about the pool hours so I can see how late it's open to which the counter clerk said it's closed. Wow closed before 7 that's early. So I asked what time in the morning does it open? He states " It's closed". Well, that needs to be reported on the website as its a deciding factor as to which hotel we stay at. So is the reviews, and I can't believe anyone would give this place a good rating. So I get a key card for a room upstairs but never got to use it. As we were walking up to the door I could see that the handle was upside down..? So I put my hand on it and it came off!! Went back to office with handle in tow for him just to give another room. This one's door handle worked but if we had know what was waiting on the other side of that door we would have wished for it to not open. Dirt, grime, stains, smells, disgusting carpet, cigarette burns, rips in (UN)comforter, hard lumpy bed, stained pillows, stained loveseat, paint cracked ans peeling on walls and ceiling, white powdery residue all over furniture, A/C unit filthy. Too much to list but all bad. Very, very bad. What's worse is the guy at the counter doesn't care. We left 1st thing in the morning to find breakfast and never return to this so called Days Inn.

Dirty, old, smelly, holes, stains, rips, chunks of mystery red stuff all over nightstand. Stains all over the carpet type throw that I think they believe is a blanlet. Dead skin, hairs and filth by the head of the bed, had to stuff the pillows down there to keep the nastiness at bay. Roach crawling through the hole surrounding the shower head. Rust, scum build up on the coffee pot. Disgusting carpet, had to wear socks the whole time. Paper thin walls....achoo! Bless you is heard from the room next door. Unoperable pool. Old, stale so called Danish and left out forever brown flakes for breakfast. If you dare to drink the coffee in the lobby area be prepared to spit it out, old and burnt. Not 1 good thing about it.

The room was everything I expected. The fan was a little loud, but the t.v. was great and the bed was comfy!

Very outdated, cigarette smell was horrible. Almost empty and refused to switch me rooms despite their mistake.

Well we got there early and was charged an extra $20 to get in our room. Then the hotel manager or owner dont know which was complaining about what they were getting paid. I knew I was paying $55 a night , but he said we only getting paid $44 so we can do nothing for you. We not getting paid the amount we usally charge is $69.95 , you not pay that we only get $44 dollars a night. So I feel we got took cause for what we got it should have been cheaper.

I travel frequently and am accustomed to basic room ammenities, so I do not think that expectations were unrealistic. Beautifully appointed? The room was in desperate need of updating walls, carpet, bedding, matress, spread. My family arrived after midnight and the dead bolt did not work. Temperature outside was below freezing and the room heater was not on. It took quite a while to heat, then we all woke up a few hours later too hot. Luckily the room was being used just for sleep because there was nothing comfortable about it. The noise from the next room was barely muffled. There was a refrigerator and safe.
