Great location, easy to find and navigate, new remodeling but looks like a new building. Owners were friendly and very helpful. Great night sleep.
I was so pleased with this hotel! For a reasonable price the hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly. I will definitely stay here again!
Had to book a sudden trip toPicayune in order to move furniture from Poplarville, and chose Days Inn. I was concerned because I had never stayed at one before, but was very impressed with this establishment. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and had info on restuarants ,including who delivered. The room was VERY clean and smelled fresh and comfortable. I will stay here again when I travel back in September. I recommend it highly for value and cleanliness.
Property is clean, rooms clean and adequately stocked, beds made daily, towels and bath cloths upon request, pet friendly, courteous staff. They do need lids for the coffee at the continental breakfast.
The greeting was fair, but the non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smell. No towels in the room and when requested gave us the thin scratchy type. Not up to standards expected.
I had a awesome stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean and updated. I will definitely be staying here again!
We were told everything was sold out but we saw only 10 cars in their parking lot at one time so we could not get the type of room requested. Toilet used twice and had to call to have someone come o unstop it The refrigerator freezer section had not been defrosted and we needed to use it for ice packs for keeping medications cold. The breakfast had no fresh fruit or ANY healthy choices. The fruit juice came from an aluminum pitcher and was a questionable color. A cricket was in the room chirping for 2 hours until I turned on the bathroom light for the rest of the night. Only positive was a clean carpet and smiling receptionist.
On our way to a cruise we stopped here because it looked like a good price online. The worst part about getting to it was the road to it from the main road. The potholes were pretty big. The rooms (though heavily used) were bigger than I expected and adequate for a one night stay. The continental breakfast was a basic one...cereal, oatmeal, breads, waffles, juice, coffee, and milk. For someone who needs to watch what they are eating, the selection wasn't great. I was really hoping for some eggs and skim milk, but had to make do with oatmeal.
We were headed out on a week long camping excursion. A late start and some unexpected traffic, put us getting in later than expected. So we stopped for the night in Picayune, Ms. We had made the reservation on the road after seeing a billboard. Upon arrival, the desk clerk (we learned later he was the manager), greeted us and took care of our needs. He was very welcoming. Obviously, he enjoys his work, meeting new people, and fits perfectly into his chosen hospitality management career. He proceeded to tell us everything we needed to know about the hotel, and gave us the rundown on the local restaurant scene. He even pointed out a parking area for our truck and trailer, where it was close to the room and fully lit by the lamps in the parking lot. The room was very comfortable, the decor appropriate, and aimed slightly toward the business traveler. The bed was a dream! The shower large enough and fixtures modern. A selection of toiletries placed at the sink for your convenience. TV/Cable, and WiFi worked without a hitch! Breakfast was the standard continental fare with a waffle maker. The area was clean, and everything was fresh. Checkout was just as cordial as our arrival was, our host hoping he would see us again!
It's a little bit awkward to get to but close to the interstate and local restaurants. Friendly staff and the rooms were surprisingly clean with good furnishing. Nice topper on the bed that made it comfy. Bathroom was a little tight (only has the shower and toilet in there). The sink is in the main room.
