Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District

Room was dirty and outdated for price. Was never informed of parking fee of 35 PLUS 22.5% tax on top of the fee.

Close to liberty bell and independence hall. Breakfast was lacking.

Overall it was a very good experience. Only issue was the tv situation

The entrance to this hotel is lovely as is the entire first floor. The young man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar are pleasant and comfortable. Menu selections are better than the buffet. A couple of. Waiters were very slow, and two young ladies were great. Our room was very pleasant, large, and had some nice things. In addition to a king bed there was a sofa, easy chairs, coffee table, desk, large tv and small refrigerator. All those good things were great. But I would have a couple of suggestions. Except for table tops nothing looked as if it had been dusted in our room for the last year or two. Lamps were covered. I dusted one with a Kleenex. A manager might check rooms after cleaners are finished. The luggage rack actually had dust fly off when opened. The floor boards, room corners etc were full of dust. A vacuum cleaner hadn't come close to room edges for a long time. A room this nice would be worth more if it was clean. All that said our four night stay was very nice

Liked location. Room was available for an early check in.

Comfortable clean room. No refrigerator. Comfortable bed sheets and pillowcases. Nice staff. K-cup coffee in lobby. No breakfast. Pay to park was $20/day. Easy walk to Philadelphia visitor center and waterfront.

Within walking distance to wonderful area. Felt safe. Many sites to see

Good location ... great staff. Price was appropriate for the city. No free parking in hotel parking lot, but there are a couple less expensive parking lots around.

I really really enjoyed the Benjamin Franklin home, printing shop and museum! I just enjoyed visiting all the historical buildings and Liberty Bell.

we stayed in 3 different hotels in three nights that weekend. All for the purpose of the location being close to what we were doing. That part of the Wyndham Philadelphia was great. Out of the three including a Crowne Plaza and a Hilton, this by far was the most expensive. We understand that we were probably paying for the location but this room out of the three was the most disappointing. It was the smallest of the three, the most expensive and less cleanly. We enjoyed all that the hotel had to offer including the onsite parking garage, the bar and the rooftop pool.

It's a nice location, very convenient to The Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and nearby Chinatown. The room is ok, but the front desk and/or housekeeping was not very cooperative in granting our request for a few items from housekeeping, such as additional pillows and blanket. We had asked the front desk twice for these items, but nothing was delivered to our room. The good part is that when we checked out at the front desk, they waived the parking charge for our trouble. That was great. The other complain that I have was the drains in the sink and bathtub not working efficiently. They need to clear the water pipes.

Room was clean, Staff was excellent. Make you pay for parking $35 for the day which is very expensive in my opinion. Furthermore, I was one minute past expiration of time at garage and was charged another $25 Wifi was difficult to get onto to. Parking is a factor in my decision to return there in the future as I do go to Philly quite often. Hotel was convenient to all the major attractions.

This hotel is wonderfully located if you're looking to explore the Old City- Ben Franklin is buried steps away, although there is a charge to enter the cemetery...kinda odd. The hotel staff is great and check-in was a breeze. The room was a little dated with a few stains on the carpet and the bathroom door didn't close properly but, really not a big deal. Parking was easy and included in the Orbitz price- great value. We would have booked two nights if parking was covered for both as you won't need the car to explore this city. All in al- nice place - I would definitely stay here again.

Great staff, everything was clean and nice, easy walking distance from Liberty Bell.

Great location, very friendly staff - especially Asia at the front desk. Clean & comfortable rooms. For the price, it was as good as it gets.

The sheets on my bed looked like they'd been slept in. No mattress pad, lumps, wrinkled sheets - yuk.

Hotel was located in the historic district, one block from the liberty bell and independence hall. Hotel was updated and very clean with a very friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance to Market Street and City hall. Overall a great stay. Would definitely recommend the Wyndham Historic District.

Beds are extremely comfortable. Location is fantastic but a little noisy. Within walking distance of many attractions.

We chose the hotel for the location and it was great. The hotel has a restaurant/bar both good and the staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and things to see would definitely stay here again
