I adore this hotel. My partner and I have stayed here twice and love the space and style. My only concerns this time were around the shared kitchen space during covid, and interestingly enough...the cleaning staff being too on top of it. For whatever reason, we assumed that our room would be left as is, but instead found that the cleaning staff had come through to change the sheets and towels. Our preference would have been to opt in to this service to limit exposure for the cleaning staff and to be more environmentally conscious. I certainly don't mind using the same towel twice or sleeping on the same sheets two nights in a row. All in all, the place is incredibly charming and the staff are kind and helpful.
Ergonomically a place for people 65+. The bathtubs are potential hazards, even with the non-slip rubber duckies.
The Metro Hotel definitely has that special touch. Staffs were great and friendly. It's very close to downtown without being close to all the noise. The good coffee, crepes, and baked goods in the morning is a nice touch.
Pleasant, unique environment, French theme, rustic, comfortable, close to town, yet quiet. They went to a lot of trouble to make this a special place- I'll be back! ... maybe try out the Airstream next time!
Interesting with the French motif. Walking distance to the downtown. Great staff.
