Overpriced poorly maintained property in a bad neighborhood

Received room with clogged toilet. Run down place, definantly flea bag type of motel.

Very crowded parking lot. Found a spider crawling on the sheets. Could hear the train signals. Very basic set up in the room. Laundry room in awkward location. Give it 1 and 1/2 star(s).

It was not the comfort I was looking for. The bed was real hard, the rooms were very dated also, parking is hard to maneuver. The breakfast not very classy and nothing hot. This is not hotel friendly for business travelers... OH, I forgot to mention its right next to railroad tracks...

Many guests are clearly staying for months at a time. This looks and feels like a low income apartment building not a hotel

Room stinks so bad! Bathroom floor so discasting don’t dare walk barefoot! Outside hallway so duty! Terrible continental breakfast!

The room was dirty, the towel rack bracket was coming off of the wall, the tub were you would flip the switch to plug it was coming away from the tablet South, the beds had no padding and in the first room the top brown quilted bed spread had a very strong foul body odor and a grease/oil spot and some very disgusting looking white spots which in my opinion looked as if it was "secretions" from the genitalia area, (however I was not going to even think of smelling the spots to know for sure. I ended up being concerned and removed the quilt and turned the heater up to stay warm, tub did not seal up, the room looked as if it was a room that they didn't rent, the neighbors were loud obnoxious, belligerent, and seem to be drunk or under the influence of something. They ended up pounding on the wrong door, which was mine, cursing telling me to open the door which scared me. I was moved two Doors Down except for the bed was as hard as the floor and I just did not sleep well unfortunately it was so late at night that I was unable to book a room somewhere else and there were unwilling to give me a refund to help accommodate me being able to facilitate trying to find another room in the area. I have stayed at this location previously and had no problems, since then it seems as if the staff, the room cleanliness, and the occupants have gone completely down hill. I feel as if I was basically robbed staying there. I do not recommend this facility especially the first floor

Parking is very limited. Some utility work was being done limiting parking spaces further. Cars parked along fire lanes blocking vehicles from p ruling out. The hotel doesn't ask for license plates number so they can contact owners to help them move car. I was trapped from leaving in the morning for an hour making me lasted for my meeting. Emergency vehicles like fire trucks and ambulances would not be able to drive in because the fire lanes were blocked. I'll never stay here again. It's a safety issue and I didn't appreciate being late for my meeting because I had to struggle backing my car up being blocked by a car parked in fire lane. I am surprised fire chief allows this in Novato.

The biggest disappointment was extreme lack of parking due to construction. Stayed during a horse event, so did not spend much time at the property other than sleeping.

Having to use 50 characters? PG&E are using half their parking lot, making that the first of many bad experiences.

picture and description of hotel on line very deceiving. Arrived to find that the property had had no water since 10 Am (arrived at 5PM) and no knowledge when they would. Desk clerk very abrubt Needless to say we did not stay Had to find other lodgings at a huge increase in price. Am now trying to make sure I get my $ back from this hotel!

Very basic hotel. Cost was higher than I would have wanted to pay for location in Novato, but it was the least expensive available, and I understand that this is a high-priced area. Don't expect any amenities whatsoever. It's a somewhat hard queen bed and a bathroom.

No microwave in the room. The mattress is in serious need of replacement. Parking is difficult at times for anything other than a compact car. The staff was friendly and efficient.

When looking for a reasonably priced room in this area, it is easy to think that it doesn't exist but it does, it is here. It was everything that I could ask for in the price range.I wasn't looking for a resort, or the price that it comes with. The staff was friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. It was just what we needed!
