Sweeping Views, Private Deck, Outdoor Spa #2
If you want seclusion, dark skies, brilliant stars, hiking out the door, wildlife and tranquility—there’s no better location. Just over one mile from Lucas Valley Road, up a curvy, gorgeous (yet bumpy) paved road—we have a spacious home with two guest units—with their own entrances. Outdoor spa area: hot tub, outdoor shower. Cold plunge and sauna available for one session per night for two guests. Need to reserve time. Pets welcome, extra bed available for third guest. Incredible deck views.
This is a large studio with work area and wifi. There’s a microwave, drip coffee, coffee, tea, plates, spoons, etc—mini-frig and utensils; but no kitchen. New Casper memory foam mattress. Best of the place: star gazing at night from the hot tub which is 24 steps from the unit, or watching hawks circle the grounds at eye level.
Our place is up a twisty one mile drive through a wooded area. Although we are not far from civilization, it feels very remote and amazingly beautiful.
There may be ambient noise from the house, but we tend to be quiet.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a patio and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker. Change of towels is available on request.

Great Getaway
My dog and I stayed for a couple of days and the time was too short! The location was fantastic for hiking and exploring Bay Area towns, and we’ll definitely be back. The hosts were very

Surprise guests
The property location is beautiful and secluded. And, it was advertised as peaceful and quiet . However, we were surprised when young children arrived. They were noisy and did hinder us from using the hot tub/spa as much as we would have liked.

Perched on a Mountain
I so appreciated the quiet and the views. The space helped hold on to quietude after having ended a meditation retreat. The hosts were accessible, helpful and warm.

Navigating Marin
Beautiful remote location and great deck. My map indicated the road was on the north side of the highway. Wrong, Google Maps got me there.

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing
Very quiet, peaceful, felt remote but was only an hour away from me. The private deck was wonderful, would have loved an umbrella on the deck to enjoy the outdoors but with some shade. Room was very comfortable, lots of space, and the view was incredible. I brought my dog, which I love they have that as an option. The listing said the pet fee was $30, but I was charged $45. I don’t mind the extra $15, but thought it was a bit tacky to charge me more than what was listed. Felt like they were nickel and dime-ing me a little. But, overall happy with my stay, would probably stay again.

Perfect Getaway from City Life
We were dying to get out of the city and Robert and Beth's home was the perfect spot to stay. The studio has a large patio with an amazing view of the treeline. I spent an hour every morning starting the day with yoga and coffee as the sun rose. It was truly magical. Our main goal was to spend as much time in nature as possible and there are so many great options for hikes nearby if you enjoy hiking but want a peaceful retreat at the end of the day with all the amenities lacking when you camp, come here! The road up the way is rough as stated in the directions, but go slow and you can avoid the worst of the pits.

Serene Getaway
It was a joy to stay at Elizabeth's and Robert's place. The spacious rental had windows with views of the beautiful natural setting, and the private phenomenal deck looked out at ridges of trees in every direction. The hot tub was a welcome respite, too! We hope to take back home and hold onto some of the regenerative and restorative feelings absorbed through our short stay. And we are frog enthusiasts... so happy to listen to their calls!
