Hotels near Pelican Point Beach, California

"Hotel looks brand new and clean. Beds were comfortable and the rooms are super cute. Some issues checking in due to malfunctioning equipment so we went and ate dinner first. The restaurant next door is an English pub style which matches the theme of the hotel. Food they're was great.... unlike the hotel breakfast. When i came down there was still over an hour before breakfast hours were over. There was hardly anything there for food, no silverware, no plates, no coffee, and no one around to ask. I was trying to piece meal some food and ended up rooting through cupboards for utensils and restocked their holders for them. Another guest eventually tracked down someone in a back room somewhere and asked them about the food. They did come and refill some things but i think the eggs have never met a chicken. Also the toaster was broken/malfunctioning and all he said was "yeah we know". Also the only person to check out with was a virtual host with a guy coming through a kiosk cause the other guy had disappeared again .. very weird. "

"Everything was wonderful, except the cleaning. Staff moved my toiletries around and lost my supply of disposable contact lenses. I was lucky that I had one set in my toiletry bag from previous trips. I think they were trying to organize my stuff on the counter and they ended up throwing away my contact lenses. they really should not be touching my things."
