Fire alarm went off 5:30 am Saturday! It took 30 min to shut off - night ruined - $469 for this? Front desk attendant was totally unhelpful and rude

Charming place. The king bed was like sleeping on a cloud, it was so comfortable. Cameron's Pub next door is great! We loved the food, drinks and karaoke.
We were greeted by Indrani upon our arrival and she was so welcoming. She made us feel right at home and offered local tips. The room was clean and very comfortable. We will definitely stay here in the future.

The check-in person was super friendly and accommodating. The room was quiet and very clean. The room and property were a little nicer than I expected. Breakfast was quality. Really nothing that I didn't like.

This is perfectly situated on Cabrillo about 2-3 miles south of Pillar Point and Sam’s Chowder House. The hotel was clean; the room was comfortable and quiet; the staff was friendly and accommodating (we requested a later checkout at the last minute); and there’s access to the coastal trail within a 5-minute walk. A grab & go breakfast is provided from 7-9am. This may be good for seniors and business people, but not for weekend visitors who want to relax. It should at least be available until 10am. My only issue with the room was that the bathroom had no fan. I can’t imagine the build up of steam and dampness could be healthy or hygienic. We propped the door open (a door stop would be good to have if there’s no fan). I would recommend requesting a room facing the front as the back windows provide a view of the neighboring trailer park. I would definitely stay again for the overall convenience and comfort of this hotel.
This was a nice place, clean, and tidy, but not overly so. It was nice to have the english pub right next door. Staff were friendly but aloof. Nicest was the housekeeping staff person, very polite. But, my overall opinion, even knowing this is Half Moon Bay and widely overpriced, is that for the amount we paid, this place was no where up to the standards that it should have been. This is a Hampden Inn, charging Ritz prices.

Very comfortable beds and linens. The bathroom had small hairs in the shower and on the toilet seat. Ick! Everything else seemed very clean.
