Construction complications
We were excited about this stay as we were traveling as a group for the first time to Paris. When we arrived the property was aggressively under construction in the courtyard and the outside of the property. This was not disclosed. The construction workers showed up loudly at 7:30 in the morning on the scaffolding that was set up right outside the windows all around the apartment and work began shortly after. Very loudly. When we notified the management company they didn’t respond. When we asked about things like a trash bag they respond we should go buy one. The towel driers didn’t work, the fold out beds in the living room were on their last leg with sharp screws poking out and a side that was fully detached and not stable. Then when we used the first shower it flooded and the drain wouldn’t drain. They were finally responsive to this notice and sent someone out quickly. The lock for the key quit working and wouldn’t hold the key and they didn’t respond to this either. In general this was a disappointing stay and the lack of care or communication about the construction or broken parts of the apartment would keep us from recommending this to anyone else for a stay.
