While it was right around the corner from the high rent district, we found a little shop that sold a variety of foods and drinks that were priced very reasonably. It was a 4 minute walk to the center of the park where we enjoyed a number of inexpensive meals. The room was comfortable, beds were great, air conditioning was great. This was a great deal considering the central, safe location. Lots of nearby cafe's and bars ranging from reasonably priced to very expensive. If we go back to Paris, we'll stay here again!

I expected a beat up uncomfortable hotel passed off as "Quaint". Man was I wrong. Clean, charming with the most wonderful staff. I hated to leave! The happiness started when I walked into the door tired from a long flight and I was offered a comfortable place to rest and a coffee. The front desk staff could not be nicer and the breakfast staff were like dear friends by the end of the stay. The rooms (I stayed 4 days then 5 after a short stay in Versailles were super clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were nicer than mine at home. The best part was the windows with the wonderful antigue hardware. When can I go back?

I stayed in a single room. The furniture included a double bed, desk and chair and wardrobe. This room had a balconey you could stand on. The flowers on the balcony rail added a nice touch. The bathroom was clean and I loved that there was no limit on how hot you could have your shower. The only negative to me was the lack of in room coffee/tea makings. The location is across from Jardin Tuleries and a half mile from the Louvre. Also, if your are taking tours with Paris City Vision, their location is a tad bit closer than the Louvre. The Opera house is a ten minute walk as well. The price for my room was well within my buget which made this gem of a hotel even better.

This hotel is in a great location across from the Tuilleries Gardens. Nice clean room, but the real outstanding part was the staff. They are well trained, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. They definitely helped make it a great stay.

Great location and staff very helpful in everything I requested.

This hotel is amazing. Two thumbs up. The location cannot be beaten if you want to visit the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, the Opera or any number of Paris's historic landmarks. The staff was courteous and very accommodating. A word of caution - if you have more than 4 people (e.g. two adults and more than 2 kids), book 2 rooms and ask for a connecting set. It's very convenient and more space for everyone.

From check-in to check-out the staff at Hotel Mayfair were nothing but exceptional. Every possible thing they could do to make our stay better, they did.

I wanted to book a hotel close to all of the main areas and Hotel Mayfair was the perfect place. The location was excellent. Despite the busy area, the room was so quiet. Staff was friendly. Had issues with WiFi and they were helpful, but it was still spotty. The little cafe one the first floor was nice for breakfast, but only ate there one day. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel was wonderful I would recommend it and I will like to stay there again when I return!

Fantastic stay for me and my girlfriend. Great location and extremely helpful staff! Definitely will visit this hotel again.

Lovely hotel, clean, comfortable, large room/nice sized bathroom. Great location! Would definitely return to the same hotel.

As the title indicates a very well located hotel for a tourist like me. Lovely hotel, recommended in general. Not cheap. Do not plan to do much more than sleep in the room. It's tasteful, clean but small. I dont mean kinda small, I mean TINY. Like there is not much floor space after the bed and desk... Seriously... Dont bring kids, it's too small.

The hotel was pretty nice. I actually really loved they had vintage looking keys for the door instead of the electronic card key. It gives paris a more historical ambience. However, they do need to upgrade the attitude of the staff. They seemed to be a little annoyed at some basic questions the customer had. Price of wifi, how to get to the airport by public transportation etc. Other than that I would say it was really nice.

Perfect weekend in Paris. Hotel Mayfair was an excellent choice. We will certainly return

The staff was great and helpful because our French was limited, but we tried! They helped in every way. They were friendly and the hotel provided a US News sheet in the morning giving us the highlights of the day before. They are working on improving their WiFi! Easy hop on the Place De Le Concord Metro!

Hotel is fairly nice, but as an example the phone in the room has not button to call reception...and the pillows are small.

Wonderful experience. Best location in Paris. Shopping and cafés all around.

Great value considering how clean and friendly the hotel is, while being just a few steps from all the stores on the Rue St. Honore, as well as the Place Concorde, the Louvre, the Opera House, and the Tuileries.

Room - I booked a single room which was clean, had a TV & a great view from the balcony. The bathroom was huge but what's up with the half glass door on the shower/tub? Staff - I'd have to say the staff was by far one of the best group of Hotel personnel I have ever met. They went out of their way to make sure all of my needs were met. They were very friendly & polite. Food - There was a continental & traditional breakfast setup in the mornings, but I just couldn't see myself paying €15 or €25 when for €10 I could go next door & have a complete breakfast. Internet - This was my only issue with this hotel. If you book directly with the Hotel, internet access is included. If you booked through other means (i.e. Travel Website.), it was €10 a day. The WiFi was very weak in my room & they disabled the wired connections to the room. Even though they added multiple Access Points all over the Hotel, for what ever reason, my floor (floor 4) did not have any. Plus if you closed the interior door to the room, well, Good Luck getting a signal at all. The staff indicated that they were working with the provider & their technical people to get it resolved. I booked through a travel website so I had to pay €10/day. Due to my complaints, I ended up paying only €25 for the entire stay (5 days) but still, if I'm paying that much, the internet service had better be phenomenal. Location - The Hotel is centrally located to many of the more popular tourist attractions. Walking distance to the Louvre, Opera House, Notre Dame, the Champs Elysées & the Arc de Triomphé. It is also very close to the Concorde metro stop to the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre & other attractions are just a short train ride away. As for the airport, forget paying €55 or more. Hop on the RER B line & transfer & you're right at the Hotel for only €9,75. Bottom Line - (At this time), if you depend on internet access for work or other purposes, then this probably won't be the right Hotel for you. If internet access doesn't mean that much, then I highly recommend you stay here. This was the only reason I did not give this Hotel a 5 Star rating.

Nice. Lobby is so so. Rooms are spacious. Staff very very friendly.
