Only good matter is this hotel that located in good place . That not related to hotel . Internet was not bad ,, was very very awful, specially in night .but i should say staff was very kind . In this area located so many hotels that I suggest another hotels to you .
We stayed for 4 nights in the hotel last week as we had prepaid (tourist visa requirements). We were given top floor room with a small window facing other buildings around with NO airflow. I had to push the receptionist to find me a fan as it was too stuffy and no ventilation plus the air con was faulty so no cooling at all. Next day we asked to change room to a lower room expecting slight cooling effect and maintenance to sort out air con issue. But all 4 nights the air con wasnt fixed. I have observed that there are reviews on tripadvisor in July 2017 reporting the same issue. If management is reading this then is this a deliberate thing? I am guessing you were telling all customers that it is an unexpected maintenance issue? If others are booking for this hotel then dont pay for many days in advance and be careful. Rooms were small but fine for the location. Exhaust fans in the bathrooms of the two rooms we stayed didnt work (2nd floor and 5th floor). Water bottle was not replenished every day. Location of hotel is very nice but we were left sick and miserable with the air conditioning not working issue. One of the receptionist suggested sleep with open window which we did all the time of the stay but then be ready for the noise from the outside.
This hotel is in the heart of Paris. Me and an office colleague stayed there for a night during the course of a recent business trip. We were actually able to walk to this place from Gare du Nord - with luggage. Most of the attractions of Paris are walkable from here. A taxi at night from Louvre to this place costs about 6 EUR. So the location is really central. We got a great deal on a room with twin sharing beds without breakfast. The staff speak English and are very helpful. Indeed, often their worth comes out when faced with a problem and their response to it. In our case, the problem was the airport shuttle which we booked the night before. It did not turn up due to a confusion. The staff immediately called a regular taxi to the CDG airport and paid the fare - taking all the blame upon themselves. This is what call real service. We were impressed.
Stayed on nights of 20 to 23 June 2017 the room was small dirty and need of refurbishment, but the main problem was the air conditioning did not work, and with temperatures in the high 20 low 30's it was unbearable. we wasted a lot of time waiting for someone to look at this after several complaints but no one attended, on after we got up at 1.30 am on morning of 22 and protested most vehemently did I get a meeting with the manager who agreed the air conditioning did not work and moved us to another room where once again the air conditioning was ineffective. Had we not had payment for our stay taken prior to arriving at the hotel I would have refused to pay. This was a trip for my wifes 60th Birthday and was totally ruined because we could get no sleep due to the temperature.
Stayed for 3 nights last week with my friend as we went to see Coldplay. The hotel is small, would have been better if there was like a bar where you could get a drink in the evenings as there wasn't anything to do. The rooms were very small and we didn't get the room we asked for, we booked twin beds but only doubles available when arriving at hotel. Also my friend brought a t-shirt while we were over there and when it was time to come home she couldn't find that t-shirt anywhere in our room after checking everywhere 3 times. Also the fire alarm went off Saturday night and early Sunday morning aswell.
We initially booked a junior suite, upon arrival we were asked if we wanted 2 double rooms instead. Since our kid da are teenagers imagine our delight. We got to the hotel from a long oversees flight at around 10:30 am. The front desk had one of the rooms ready by 11:00. The rooms were cozy, with a view to the street. If you close the windows at night you will not hear a thing. Very friendly staff, great continental breakfast. The hotel is located perfectly within walking distance to major landmarks: 15 min to Sacre coeur, 20 min to the louvre, 10 to Opera Garnier. There's a grocery store 2 min walk from the hotel. Restaurants, brasseries within walking distance. I would go back there!
Hotel is good. It's clean, room is big enough. Breakfast doesn't have many option but it's ok. A 2 minutes walking distance from a subway station. Only the wifi is very, very slow. But it still works. I would stay again!
This is quite a cozy hotel close to LaFayette and Champ D Elysees. There are several nice Oriental restaurants around the area, Korean, Japanese and Chinese. Except for the Air Conditioning that was not working too well, we enjoyed Paria
The hotel was ok, rooms were small and it was a little bit hot. Shower was ok. The breakfast could be improved, coffee was really bad and there was no vairety. Location was good, and the staff was fiendly.
I really enjoyed my stay here, and the staff was so helpful, friendly, and approachable. Location is very central, great for sightseeing! Almost right next to a metro station. But the downsides make me rate 3 stars: the wi-fi was horrible, don't count on it. The building is old, which you'll notice from the elevator and the thin walls/doors. You can hear what people are saying from the hallway. Rooms are very small, couldn't open my suitcase all the way (it was a carry-on). Also, just a neutral thing, is that we initially booked a room for 3 people: but they overbooked these, so we couldn't get one anymore. Instead, they put us in two separate rooms (next to each other). I understand what happened, but as guests you want to get what you book for. So it definitely wasn't luxurious, but my sister and I slept just fine (the beds are very nice!). Definitely consider this if you don't want to spend too much money in Paris, and if you're ready for the downsides. If so, then it's a good stay.
