I was confused with Claridge Residence at the same row with Marriotts on Champs Elysees. Then I realised I was booked on Hotel Claridge at the other side of the road. The reception area is very cozy and staffs are friendly. Lift can occupy more than 3 people. Room is nice too, quiet spacious. From the room I was, I can see the sunset at 9pm and it is beautiful. Bathroom is spacious equipped with bathtub and shower. I like the off white walls and bed is comfy too. Highly recommended.
My family took a holiday to Paris and decided to stay at Hotel Claridge. The booking process was very easy and we requested a room with a bathtub as we had a four year old daughter who hates showers! We also enquired about parking and the hotel staff were very helpful and found a car park across the road that was very cheap. The quality of the hotel is magnificent, the lobby area is very pretty, the rooms are great, the beds are big and comfortable and the bathroom had a lot of good facilities. Everything you'd wish for from a five star hotel. There were a few small issues which I think I should warn customers about: We travelled in mid-april and it was quite warm. The air-conditioning was set to heating so the room got very very hot at night. The setting is done centrally for the whole hotel so you can't actually change it to "cool" unless it's done by reception. When I complained about the heat they said the only thing they could do was turn it off in my room and I wasn't able to use the "cool" setting. They couldn't offer a fan either. What's the point of booking a room with air conditioning if you can't even change the settings yourself. Also, the walls are very thin. At night we could hear everything in the next room and it was pretty hard getting our four year old to sleep early. Apart from those issues, it's a very nice hotel and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in central Paris.
On arrival in Paris we originally checked in at a nearby hotel. Unfortunately our room was not up to standard, we decided to see what Hotel Claridge had to offer. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome, they allowed us to view some of the available rooms so that we could decided whether we wanted to stay or not. We saw the deluxe and junior suite and both were great rooms. Check in was quick and easy, rooms were very comfortable and were a perfect size for relaxing after our long days walking and sightseeing. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Paris, the location was superb and we were able to walk to all the sight seeing locations. We will hopefully be staying again next time we visit Paris.
Just 2 minutes walk from the Champs Elysees the location is ideal as the road is not full of crowds and the rooms are reasonably quiet. The hotel is quaint but most of the furniture is not well kept. The bed is large and very comfortable. The bathroom is clean and small but quite spacious. The breakfast is good even though there is not a big choice but one can eat well. A bit expensive for Euro 19. For someone with disabilites it is a bit of a problem. To reach the elevator you need to go up some steps. To reach the rooms you have to descend some steps. In general we are pleased with the hotel
Very pleasant stay. Awesome location and very nice personnel. I liked the classic style of the room, and I would like to emphasize on the convenient location .. very close to Champs Elysee, near clubs, bars etc.
A lovely, cozy hotel steps from the Champs Elysees, and in the heart of fashion row. If you are wanting a big "American"-sized hotel, this is not for you. The rooms are very well appointed, but petite. Lovely breakfast buffet, and room service from a nearby restaurant. The bed was incredibly comfortable, all rooms seem to have TV, nice bathrooms, a desk, free WiFi, and more. As a single traveler, I felt very safe and "at home."
The hotel rooms are very nice and clean , the location is very convenient close to champs elysee. At night the hotel is guarded by one person at the reception he is very helpful but if the hotel was crowded don't know how he would do it all alone. We ordered room service and were done around 11 pm there was no one to come take the food we had to leave them on our room door till the next day. The breakfast is not bad not a huge variety though.
It was our first time in Paris, so we wanted to stay somewhere central and chose Hotel Claridge. We had 3 rooms and all 3 rooms were different and beautifully decorated. It was just enough room for 2 to a room. Very neat and clean and the shower pressure was excellent. We arrived quite early in the morning, but we were given a key to a room that was ready and left all luggage in it and went out to venture Paris. It was within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumphe, The Louvre, restaurants and shopping. You definitely have to be a walker in Paris, as you can walk everywhere. We had the breakfast buffet once, as there are so many places in Paris to enjoy. Also, the 19Euro's you pay, you can get better french croissants and pastries. The front desk employees were quite helpful and professional. A few came across a bit abrupt, but I think that's the french personality. Nothing to be upset about. The cleaning staff do an incredible job. As much as the beds look beautiful, we found the beds to be more on the hard side. All in all, the Hotel Claridge was a fabulous place to stay. You truly get the Paris feeling in the rooms and hotel. We would definitely stay here again.
Booked 3 nights a the hotel. Absolutely gorgeous little gem about 3 mins walk to the Champs de Elysee, 7 mins to Arc de triomphe, 25 mins to Eiffel tower, 50 mins to the Louve, 1hr 10mins to Notre Dame. There are also Metro stations very close by. Hotel is a lovely little boutique style affair with very friendly staff. We had Breakfast as part of the deal which was continental (Breads, Cheese,Ham, Fruit, Yoghurt, Jams, Scrambled Egg, Bacon, Sausage toast, Tea's and Coffees). Our room was on the Top floor room 66 as I requested a view and a quiet room if possible based on the centre of Paris. Room was lovely and clean with the beds made daily and new towels and hair shampoo and shower gels replenished. free tea and coffee in rooms. Room has a safe,, TV- channels in French only, hairdryer, kettle, mini bar at a charge. I would highly recommend this little Hotel but search online for the best price. We got a cracking deal including breakfast at 1/2 the price of some of the websites.
Three couples spent a three-day weekend in Paris. Our Hotel (Hotel Claridge) was a very good choice by our travel agent. It was clean, comfortable, the breakfast was good and the service was very friendly. This hotel location is in a somewhat quiet section of Paris but close to the Arch and the Eiffel Tower. We spent three nights there and all three couples were very happy. We enjoyed our stay!
