This hotel - disgusting!!! Really, do not book rooms for them. The rooms - are good! But the service staff are quiet horrible((((. On the day of departure, we were literally thrown out of the hotel. It was the 14th of July. It's a holiday in Paris, very important day for french people. We know about that. Our plane was supposed to leave at 12.30, and the day before, knowing that the traffic would be blocked in the center, we were asked to book a taxi for us in the morning, we consulted with the service personnel about the possible departure time, they advised us to leave at 8.30 in the morning, we agreed, we could leave more earlier if they say, but they said that's time is ok, they have certified us that this time is full of normal. On the next day (This is the day of our departure), when we already stand with suitcases downstairs near the reception, they tell us that there will not be a taxi, that this is not their problem, and we have to go with the big suitcases on the subway. The man with the reception shouted at us and said that it was not his problem that we should leave. With me was my elderly grandmother, she is 73 years old, but he did not care. Please, Please do not book this hotel. I think it should be deprived of all licenses and certainly the hotel can not be given four stars
Nice Hotel, clean and very good services. prime location 1 minute walk to rue champs elysee and all boutiques are in rue Francois 1ere. rooms are nice, the deluxe room is very nice as well as the furniture
We stayed here with our 11 YO daughter. We got the suite, which has a king bed and room for a rollaway cot. I have heard that the standard rooms are more cramped, but ours was very sufficient. I really appreciated how clean the bathroom was as well as the soft towels. Also there are a lot of soundproofing features, which are important because there's a lot of street noise from the cafes, etc. The curtains are both beautiful and great at blocking out the light. And the A/C unit was quiet and effective. All are important factors for a restful sleep which is so important when battling jet lag. A need to know fact is that the elevator doesn't really get you to your room. You have to climb stairs. It's a beautiful curved staircase, but stairs nonetheless. Thankfully the staff carry your bags to your room. Tip: there's a Pret A Manger right across the street that has great organic breakfast and lunch items to go or eat there. Super convenient and deliciously French fast food, not too expensive either.
300m from Chams Elysee in a very nice street. The area is quiet and near to the Champs Elysee. Rooms are very nice and clean. Service is excellent and you feel at home. Take the bigger rooms or a suite as rooms in Paris centre are small.
This short holiday was a present from my wife. The hotel was in a great location just off the Champs and within a short walk to the river. Our room was very nice and well appointed. When we arrived around ten o'clock we were told that our room wouldn't be ready until three. This wasn't a problem as they were happy to keep our luggage and offered my wife a room to change and freshen up. The staff were very friendly and offered advice on the area. The young man was very pleased to be able to practice his already very good English which meant that I didn't get to practice my very poor French. We had a very nice three night stay here and would not hesitate to go back.
I went to Paris first time for my birthday! spend 2 nights at Claridge hotel. Check in late, but check in process was fast and easy! Comfortable room. Locations are nice and every sightseeing is within walking distant. Breakfast is opened till 12noon which is very nice! I will stay here again next time when I visit Paris.
I was confused with Claridge Residence at the same row with Marriotts on Champs Elysees. Then I realised I was booked on Hotel Claridge at the other side of the road. The reception area is very cozy and staffs are friendly. Lift can occupy more than 3 people. Room is nice too, quiet spacious. From the room I was, I can see the sunset at 9pm and it is beautiful. Bathroom is spacious equipped with bathtub and shower. I like the off white walls and bed is comfy too. Highly recommended.
My family took a holiday to Paris and decided to stay at Hotel Claridge. The booking process was very easy and we requested a room with a bathtub as we had a four year old daughter who hates showers! We also enquired about parking and the hotel staff were very helpful and found a car park across the road that was very cheap. The quality of the hotel is magnificent, the lobby area is very pretty, the rooms are great, the beds are big and comfortable and the bathroom had a lot of good facilities. Everything you'd wish for from a five star hotel. There were a few small issues which I think I should warn customers about: We travelled in mid-april and it was quite warm. The air-conditioning was set to heating so the room got very very hot at night. The setting is done centrally for the whole hotel so you can't actually change it to "cool" unless it's done by reception. When I complained about the heat they said the only thing they could do was turn it off in my room and I wasn't able to use the "cool" setting. They couldn't offer a fan either. What's the point of booking a room with air conditioning if you can't even change the settings yourself. Also, the walls are very thin. At night we could hear everything in the next room and it was pretty hard getting our four year old to sleep early. Apart from those issues, it's a very nice hotel and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in central Paris.
On arrival in Paris we originally checked in at a nearby hotel. Unfortunately our room was not up to standard, we decided to see what Hotel Claridge had to offer. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome, they allowed us to view some of the available rooms so that we could decided whether we wanted to stay or not. We saw the deluxe and junior suite and both were great rooms. Check in was quick and easy, rooms were very comfortable and were a perfect size for relaxing after our long days walking and sightseeing. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Paris, the location was superb and we were able to walk to all the sight seeing locations. We will hopefully be staying again next time we visit Paris.
Just 2 minutes walk from the Champs Elysees the location is ideal as the road is not full of crowds and the rooms are reasonably quiet. The hotel is quaint but most of the furniture is not well kept. The bed is large and very comfortable. The bathroom is clean and small but quite spacious. The breakfast is good even though there is not a big choice but one can eat well. A bit expensive for Euro 19. For someone with disabilites it is a bit of a problem. To reach the elevator you need to go up some steps. To reach the rooms you have to descend some steps. In general we are pleased with the hotel
