Beautiful hotel. Outstanding, professional and helpful staff. Spacious clean rooms. I had a suite with a lovely view of Haussmann style architecture. Great location. Only a few steps from the Palais Garnier. I stayed for two weeks. I will return. Excellent visit.
Hubby and I arrived for a 4 night stay over the Easter weekend. Our flight was delayed so instead of arriving at the hotel around 10pm it was closer to midnight. We emailed the hotel to let them know and received a very nice acknowledgment back. On arrival we were greeted by a delightful Hugo who was incredibly warm and welcoming. Our room 502 while compact (which is the norm in Europe) was perfectly formed and very comfortable containing everything we needed for our trip. Lovely fluffy towels, dressing gowns and slippers. Toiletries by ‘The White Company’ and a separate toilet from the main bathroom. The bathroom contained a bath and an over bath shower. The main bedroom area contained a small leather sofa, a large TV, good wardrobe space, a few draws and a coffee machine. The location is also great if you like walking and we walked everywhere. You are very close to a huge selection of cafes and bars in addition to super markets and all the major attractions. We didn’t eat in the hotel (we were room only) choosing to eat at the local cafe’s. In general we were out from 09:30 getting back to the hotel around 18:30. We picked up dinner from either the local delicatessen or Boulanger and chilled out in our room. We did however, upon return on our last night, enjoy a selection from the sweetie jars which are available just to the right hand side of the reception. Overall our stay was lovely. The hotel is very attractive and the staff are incredibly friends and helpful. Would definitely return and happily recommend. Attached are some photos of the main reception area.
Had a great stay at this hotel. Helpful and kind staff. Breakfast included a large selection of items, and the staff was great at remembering what we liked each morning. Would stay here again without question.
It was a very nice visit at the hotel banke near to everything stores, cafes, restorants and more. The hotel was very elegant and classy with very professional staff. The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the start to the end. The breaksfast was really good with fresh food. I really recommend this hotel and the location was great. Best regards from Daci
My sister and I made this hotel our "home" for our seven days in Paris. It was perfectly located to everything we wanted to do. We were impressed by the very friendly, professional staff, including all the great doormen. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff helped us with several reservations, including the tour to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Being able to walk to the Louvre, The Opera House, and other points of interest was perfect for us. I look forward to staying here again.
Just spent several days in Paris (Lucky Me) to catch up with gal pals. I now live on an olive farm in rural Greece- so I loved this urban location. So much dining/shopping/cinema within easy walking distance. Fabulous! The staff was superb. I'm really picky about cleaning- and this room got my stamp of approval. It was lovely & spotlessly clean. My one request on my email reservation was for a room with enough space for my yoga mat. I arrived, and the front desk guy told me that he'd located the perfect room for me and my yoga mat. It even had a big bathtub- which was greatly appreciated since it was FREEZING weather during my visit. What a great way to warm up. Speaking of warming up- I'd asked a front desk gal about the sauna- She arranged for it to be turned on and warm for me. The hotel comped 2 glasses of cava in their bar, which was a nice treat. Breakfast (and the breakfast staff folks) were amazing. Basically- I will always stay at this hotel when I visit Paris. THANK YOU TO HOTEL BANKE STAFF for a lovely holiday. The hubby did fine taking care of himself and our dogs back home- So I'll be back!
I have been to Paris several times before and this is definitely my favourite hotel. Everything was perfect. From the airport you can get the Roissy bus for 12 euros and it drops you about a 4 min walk away from the hotel. The location is perfect, you can walk to Montmarte, the Louvre, actually pretty much everywhere. The staff were all absolutely lovely, it was my birthday when i was there and i was given a bottle of wine and some chocolates with a really nice little note. The rooms were a really good size, the restaurant/bar was also really nice. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel and i am looking forward to staying there again the next time i am in Paris.
A wonderful hotel, with great staff in an excellent location. Even the standard rooms are spacious, which is hard to find in Parisian hotels. The staff is super friendly, kind and willing to help in all inquiries. Couldn't ask for a better location, a two minute walk from Galleries Lafayette, Opera Garnier and the metro station. The hotel building has a history and a unique aura and decor. Definitely recommended.
I love the hotel and my room was beaultiful, but it was in front of the elevator and because that i wake up with a elevantor sing and noise all mornings. The hotel try to change our rooms, but the other rooms avaliable are small, one is very dark and the other are more expanssive,,,, because that we stay in the same beaultifull noise room for 6 nights........ i like it but in the mornings i hate it.
Great location, beautiful boutique hotel, nevertheless few things need improvement...the room is spacious, especially the bathroom, but the layout is rather poor and insufficient...staff is extremely friendly and have handled our requests and issues in a proper and competent manner. During our stay we faced two issues, namely... - on our first day the heating was not working properly and it was really cold in the room, taking a shower was real challenge...then in the middle of the night the problem with the heating was resolved and the room turned into an oven since we had the heating set in max to get the most out of it during the problem...woke up from the extreme heat and it was not possible to turn down or off the heating...so I had to sleep with the window open in order to survive it...on the following day the staff fixed the issue and since then no further temperature problems - on our last morning we woke up with a fire alarm, went out of the room and saw people running left and right not knowing what to do. No staff was coordinating the evacuation and the access to the stairs was problematic due to a very small sign which is hardly visible...after reaching the ground floor, staff of the hotel met us, apologized and confirmed that there was no fire. I am not sure what was the reason of the alarm, but the issue here is that the exits are very poorly marked and there was no coordination from the hotel staff to help guests evacuate in a timely manner. Both issues were communicated to the manager on duty and she assured us that they would do everything necessary to avoid these issues from ever happening again. Overall it’s a good hotel that I am willing to give it a second chance because of the way the management took notice of our issues and their attitude towards improving themselves.
