We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Banke Hotel - the hotel is well located and a has alovely ambiance as soon as you walk in. Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, especially reception - this is to be commended. Our room was very comfortable and although we were up and out early to tour Paris and surrounds whilst staying and didn't have breakfast or dinner, we did have drinks and bar food late at night and the service and food was prompt and most enjoyable. Would most certainly return to Hotel Banke and highly recommend this hotel.
I recently stayed at Banke Hotel with my daughter and we both had a wonderful time. I have stayed in Paris many times in a number of hotels in this price range and higher and Banke definitely outshines the others. The staff we amazing at each interaction. Attentive, friendly and thoughtful. My daughter had hurt herself and their care and attention made her feel like a Queen. Location of this property is perfect for Galleries Layfette shopping, metro or Opera. Beautiful lobby, bar and rooms. No boring apples on this reception desk, here they have a selection of old school gummies and candies for your to pick from! We will be back.
Great hotel, very friendly, accommodating and helpful staff. Nothing was too great or small a task if we ask for help or directions. That which struck me, was how all the staff had remembered my name, it added that little personal touch to our weekend away, we will definitely stay here again!
I stayed at the hotel banke and really enjoyed my experience, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious and nicely decorated and the location is perfect, in a central yet quiet area. overall great stay and would highly recommend it!!
The Hotel is a beautiful boutique property. It used to be Napoleon's Mother's residence and then a Banke so it has a lot of history. The suite we had was very large, nice amenities, windows opened on to Rue La Fayette. The location is great! Close to Notre Dame, Louvre, Seine, and walking distance to the La Fayette Gallery Mall (the only mall in Paris...my wife loved that). From the doormen to the housekeeping staff everyone was very pleasant and spoke perfect English and were willing to help us speak better French! Overall, a great value! Our suite included breakfast which was superb!! We had a wonderful visit and would definitely book this Hotel again...upgrade to a suite...it is worth it!!
Amazing staff, everyone was so nice and helpful. Nice rooms for the cost. Anytime we had a question or request the reception desk was there to answer. The bell hops were great with directions and advice, even directed us to the closest grocery store to save us money on supplies like water. The bar was a cozy place that made the most amazing boutique drinks with fresh fruits and spices.
The location is veru convenient, close to a metro station. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The personnel was friendly and extremely helpful. Also, the breakfast was good and the room service was excellent. The internet connection was fast - and free!
Dark, depressing and exceptionally poor value for money. Breakfast costs a staggering EU26 per person and is overpriced and overhyped. The entire hotel seems to be short of bright lighting and whilst the entrance is impressive to look at, it is dark just like the corridors and indeed bedrooms. A 5 star hotel it may be, but the experience I had was anything less than 5 star.
This hotel was shoehorned into an old Bank building- hence the name. As a result its got lots of marble and a fine entrance with a cocktail bar and restaurant situated in the original banking hall. Our bedroom was an odd shape- the building has a triangular floor plan which inevitably makes for some slightly eccentric layouts. Towelling dressing gowns and slippers and a full complement of toiletries in the bathroom added a luxurious touch. One of our party was robbed at the station on arrival on the Orient Express which resulted in a fair amount of admin with police reports and visits to the consulate etc. The hotel were very helpful throughout and dealt with cabs and phone calls and lent what assistance they could and were "flexible" because of missing credit cards etc. We will return.
Upon arriving in Paris late Thursday Evening (19th Oct) our suit carrier was stolen from us outside the Station in the Taxi rank !!.........all our Money, Passports, I phone, cards etc........... The Hotel could not do enough for us, their friendly and helpful staff were on hand to undertake anything we needed. An added bonus was how nice the Hotel is, great bar !!......... Thank you again for all your assistance, we are already looking forward to coming back. Anthony Fisher.
