I stayed in this hotel quite a few times already, while on a business trip to Paris, due to its proximity with my working place. It stays in the boarder between Paris and Pantin so not so close to the city center. The area is not so well frequented but I never had any issue there (there's plenty of people around). You have lots of restaurants in the street of the hotel + a supermarket. As for the rooms, the deco is quite dated, they're not fancy or modern at all but you can still find everything you need and you also have a kitchenette in case you wish to cook something. Other pros: wifi is normally working well and there's a metro station (line 7) pretty close to the hotel (2min). Other cons: rooms are a bit noisy (if you get one on the street side) and there's this annoying "tick-tack" all day/night, I imagine it's the electricity meter or so.
We had a weekend in Paris to watch the rugby 6 Nations. We very much liked this hotel. It's a very short walk from the Metro station. The staff are helpful. Our room, 604, and the public areas of the hotel are all very clean. You can hear the rumble of the Metro inside the room but we didn't find it loud enough to be a disturbance. The bathroom is very compact and you need to be able to swivel around the door to get to the toilet - I suggest you don't try this if many months pregnant! The kitchen provision is very convenient and particularly helpful if you're on a tight budget as you can easily make breakfast there - there are good supermarkets just across the road to stock up. We had the paid for breakfasts, the highlight of which for us was the 'boil your own eggs' machine. So nice to be able to have freshly cooked eggs just the way you like them! Across the road are a wide variety of good restaurants. Adjacent to the hotel is a very interesting science museum. Get there before noon to avoid the queues.
Room was completely different to the pictures very miss leading!booked for my wife as a weekend away we were both very disappointed and put a downer on our stay! Spent most of our time out as we didn't want to spend longer in our room than we had to!Toilet room smelt really bad ! We both got bitten from something had to be from the room as we didn't have them before going to bed!room need major re decorating!!!!!very loud couldn't sleep wasn't to bad Wednesday night and Thursday night mostly traffic noise but Friday night was awful didn't get any sleep people shouting and screaming until 2am!!also sofa bed which we slept on was broken and made a noise when you moved!Oh and we moved the bed as who ever had previously stayed there had picked there nose and been wiping it at eye level can see when your lying in bed was VERY disgusting only good thing was the staff they were helpful and friendly juts a shame the hotel lets it all down! Will not stay here again !!!!!!!!!!
It was my first time in Paris, but anyway I and my family were surprised for a fantastic hotel. Very good accommodation. Near of metro station. The staff are very friendly. I really recommend you to stay here!
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with 3 adults. 1 single bed in a small jail cell sized room and a sofa bed that pulled out in the kitchen/lounge room. The linen was clean. However there were stains all over the carpet. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the sofa bed was somehow more comfortable than the single bed however every morning began with aching backs and shoulders for all of us. The bathroom was a decent size and shower was a 'shower bath' with shower curtain. Everything was clean. Housekeeping was not included in the price, you could pay an additional fee for housekeeping you also had to pay extra if you wanted fresh towels. If you needed extra toilet paper you could request this from the receptionist. The building was secured with a passcode that changed frequently. We were given a code for the door on our first day only to try it a couple of days later to find out the code had been changed without us being notified. Receptionist say they are there 24hrs a day however when we buzzed to be let in we were told we should keep the code on us because they are not always there.... Not sure how this is possible if they change it and don't notify guests. There was a washing machine and dryer downstairs which you could use by inserting coins. Breakfast was an additional €8 + for breakfast each day. It was a variety of sliced bread, baguette, pretzels, croissants, cereal, yoghurt and cheese. There was also a Nescafé machine and orange juice / apple juice and water available. We were told by the receptionist that the area was unsafe to walk around. When researching we didn't see anything like this online so if you are a group of females travelling alone it might not be the best choice. We did catch the metro (station entry about 200m from door) into Paris and back each day and just ensured we were back before dark or caught a cab directly to the door if we knew we would be late. The restaurants across the road were quite noisy until about 4AM on some nights (this could've been due to euro2016) however the walls and windows did not block out much noise.
Well equipped kitchen, and comfortable bed, however the room was not well maintained and was not sound proof.Good Wifi service. Very small stuffy room, and had to keep windows open throughout the night. Hallway was smelling of food all the time
Modest sized rooms at the low price makes this a reasonable place to stay. The area is unusual with many shops that are not open on Saturday (Sabbath) but open on Sunday. You need to walk a couple of blocks (not bad if it is not raining) to get to an open Natural food grocery store and another block for a boulanger. A number of good, reasonably priced restaurants are nearby. The Metro is also close with one exit (but not an entrance) just behind the hotel. Very convenient. My only complaint dealt with management making us stay at another hotel with no compensation for the inconvenience.
The place is unhygenic and smelly. There was plenty of fungus growing in my bathroom and the whole place has a very musty smell. The sink smells like sewage. On top, they don't clean your rooms if you stay longer than 3 nights. This includes fresh towels and toilet paper!!! Breakfast is laughably limited and runs out before the stated hours of availability.
Very friendly staff. I stayed here for 10 days as my office is 5 mins from here however the hotel is very well connected by metro and tram. The stops for each of them is right under the hotel. Very safe place with restaurants exactly opposite the hotel. Hotel rooms are very well equipped with kitchen appliances. Only point to mention is to do provide the room cleaning service little frequently
We stayed for 6 nights in October, it was a small space, but what more do you need when you are out sightseeing all day? It was clean, had necessary equipment in the kitchen and laundry facilities in the basement. It is set on the edge of one of the most beautiful modern parks, and has plenty of restaurants and grocery shops across the road. It is very close to the Metro station and we even used the tram, which was very efficient. There is no air conditioning, so I think staying in summer would be uncomfortable. The weather was still warm when we visited, and we had to have the window open at night, which let in all the noise of the busy road.
