We spent 5 nights here. We had 3 apartments. First impressions was dull, dark and cold. The room didn’t look much like the pictures on their website. First thing I always check first when I’m in a hotel: look for the fire scale route map, but there wasn’t any in the room. The only one I saw was on the ground floor next to the lifts, but none in your room. The bedroom was small, with space for the bed and that’s it. The mattress wasn’t for me, far too soft, really soft, I’m not a heavy person but this mattress sunk completely under my weight. The bathroom and the toilet....oh dear, moist and mould stains all over the place, smelly pipes, no heating at all in this 2 rooms....well, you can’t really call them rooms as they were so tiny. In the bathroom there was a heated towel-rack that didn’t work. There wasn’t enough towels, not even one per person, we had to go down to reception and ask for more. There was 2 tiny toilet rolls for 3 people for 5 days The apartment looked clean when we arrived, not sparkling clean, just acceptably clean. Until I went to the bedroom, looked under the bed and there was a big pile of toilet roll paper from the previous customers ( see picture). I was surprised the maid missed it as part of the mess could be seen from one side of the bed We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, but there is plenty of nice cafes in the area and for lunch or dinner the hippopotamus just next door is amazing. The reception staff was nice and friendly.
We are in business trip with my daughter n son inlaw, thats why we brought our Apple Mac Pro to work. One afternn we just went out for lunch n left the computer on the table charging. We double lock the room n hang "Do not disturb" but after we back to room, computer/power bank/ hat was missing, SHOCK!..new hand carry Aluminum bag lock was damaged could not use.. Reported Paris Police n Htl Manager was trying her best to claim frm Insurance (appreciated).we will see what is the Hotel can do for us about our lost items..RAB.still Shock!
A place to stay at a reasonable price. Not very far from Monmarte. Well connected with Metro. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was basic but at that cost it's good enough an offering. Nice rooms. I was upgraded being a gold member of Accor.
We had mixed feelings about this hotel. First and foremost, the staff is very helpful and friendly. This came in handy when we had to move to another room because of a defective sofabed. The 1st night we had to put the mattress on the floor. The staff helped us promptly and decisivly for the following nights. The rooms are reasonably clean. The normal and superficial cleaning is decent but there is mould along the walls and in bathrooms. Also there is some plaster falling off and other building issues. Beware that there are extra charges for cleaning and extra towels. Bathrooms are very small and there is no airconditioning. We had to keep our windows open as much as possible, which gave us other problems. If your room is on the quiet back side, beware of mosquitos around late summer. If your room is on the busy front side of the hotel, there is a lot of noise coming from the street. If you come by car, there is a large public parking garage within a few minutes walk. Find 'Indigo' near the Paris Cite des Sciences in your navigation system. Daily rate (summer 2017) is 25 euros max. The subway/metro is pretty close. It takes about half hour to Louvre and an hour to Eiffel tower. Wifi is free throughout the hotel but the quality/speed is not consistant. The breakfast is cheap at 8.40 euros but also very very very limited. It's definitely not the staff's fault but we would not choose this place again.
Lovely stay in this bijou but adequate aparthotel for 2 adults and 2 children. It was clean, with helpful reception staff, handy location - enjoyed being near the park and the canal. Easy journey into the centre and easy to visit Basilica of St Denis. Only downside was children did not eat much breakfast, so better to go to caff. Also went to La Plage restaurant/bar (along canal) which has good food.
I stayed in this hotel quite a few times already, while on a business trip to Paris, due to its proximity with my working place. It stays in the boarder between Paris and Pantin so not so close to the city center. The area is not so well frequented but I never had any issue there (there's plenty of people around). You have lots of restaurants in the street of the hotel + a supermarket. As for the rooms, the deco is quite dated, they're not fancy or modern at all but you can still find everything you need and you also have a kitchenette in case you wish to cook something. Other pros: wifi is normally working well and there's a metro station (line 7) pretty close to the hotel (2min). Other cons: rooms are a bit noisy (if you get one on the street side) and there's this annoying "tick-tack" all day/night, I imagine it's the electricity meter or so.
We had a weekend in Paris to watch the rugby 6 Nations. We very much liked this hotel. It's a very short walk from the Metro station. The staff are helpful. Our room, 604, and the public areas of the hotel are all very clean. You can hear the rumble of the Metro inside the room but we didn't find it loud enough to be a disturbance. The bathroom is very compact and you need to be able to swivel around the door to get to the toilet - I suggest you don't try this if many months pregnant! The kitchen provision is very convenient and particularly helpful if you're on a tight budget as you can easily make breakfast there - there are good supermarkets just across the road to stock up. We had the paid for breakfasts, the highlight of which for us was the 'boil your own eggs' machine. So nice to be able to have freshly cooked eggs just the way you like them! Across the road are a wide variety of good restaurants. Adjacent to the hotel is a very interesting science museum. Get there before noon to avoid the queues.
Room was completely different to the pictures very miss leading!booked for my wife as a weekend away we were both very disappointed and put a downer on our stay! Spent most of our time out as we didn't want to spend longer in our room than we had to!Toilet room smelt really bad ! We both got bitten from something had to be from the room as we didn't have them before going to bed!room need major re decorating!!!!!very loud couldn't sleep wasn't to bad Wednesday night and Thursday night mostly traffic noise but Friday night was awful didn't get any sleep people shouting and screaming until 2am!!also sofa bed which we slept on was broken and made a noise when you moved!Oh and we moved the bed as who ever had previously stayed there had picked there nose and been wiping it at eye level can see when your lying in bed was VERY disgusting only good thing was the staff they were helpful and friendly juts a shame the hotel lets it all down! Will not stay here again !!!!!!!!!!
It was my first time in Paris, but anyway I and my family were surprised for a fantastic hotel. Very good accommodation. Near of metro station. The staff are very friendly. I really recommend you to stay here!
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with 3 adults. 1 single bed in a small jail cell sized room and a sofa bed that pulled out in the kitchen/lounge room. The linen was clean. However there were stains all over the carpet. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the sofa bed was somehow more comfortable than the single bed however every morning began with aching backs and shoulders for all of us. The bathroom was a decent size and shower was a 'shower bath' with shower curtain. Everything was clean. Housekeeping was not included in the price, you could pay an additional fee for housekeeping you also had to pay extra if you wanted fresh towels. If you needed extra toilet paper you could request this from the receptionist. The building was secured with a passcode that changed frequently. We were given a code for the door on our first day only to try it a couple of days later to find out the code had been changed without us being notified. Receptionist say they are there 24hrs a day however when we buzzed to be let in we were told we should keep the code on us because they are not always there.... Not sure how this is possible if they change it and don't notify guests. There was a washing machine and dryer downstairs which you could use by inserting coins. Breakfast was an additional €8 + for breakfast each day. It was a variety of sliced bread, baguette, pretzels, croissants, cereal, yoghurt and cheese. There was also a Nescafé machine and orange juice / apple juice and water available. We were told by the receptionist that the area was unsafe to walk around. When researching we didn't see anything like this online so if you are a group of females travelling alone it might not be the best choice. We did catch the metro (station entry about 200m from door) into Paris and back each day and just ensured we were back before dark or caught a cab directly to the door if we knew we would be late. The restaurants across the road were quite noisy until about 4AM on some nights (this could've been due to euro2016) however the walls and windows did not block out much noise.
