Green Hôtels Confort Paris 133.0 out of 5.0

Although the rooms are small, it feels very cozy, very good for a 3 star hotel. The curtains are very thick, which helps to warm the room on cold days, like the days of my short visit to Paris - however it can affect you to determine whether it's day or night if you rely on sunlight to get up. The bathroom is cozy, the beds are very comfortable, I loved the detail of the bears on the pillows and the green decor, goes with the style of the hotel. The only thing that should improve is the size of the room where breakfast is served, in the two days of my visit I could not access as there were no tables available. There are restaurants and minimarkets nearby, which helps to compensate for the small breakfast room. The hotel is located near the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand and Olympiades stations, which can be reached by walking a few blocks. All in all, it is an excellent option to spend a few days in Paris.
For a mid-range hotel - the rooms and bathroom were clean although unusual smell from bathroom. Air Conditioning unit was particularly noisy too that didn't lend itself to sleep and the door locking mechanism sounded like it was resetting itself spontaneously on numerous occasions, or many people were trying to get into my room through the early hours that was distracting and after a while a bit unnerving. Breakfast was fairly basic for the price but staff were all very helpful and I liked eco vibe about the place.
Travelling with a person in a wheelchair, I was expecting some inconvenience in Europe. Not at this hotel! Despite obvious space limitations due to geographical location, accessibility was surprisingly good. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, bathtub in the bathroom (a big plus for us), very good access to breakfast room, private parking at decent price (12 € / day), close to public transportation, excellent Sushi around the corner. As mobility challenged travelers we enjoyed our stay immensely, but non-challenged travelers would obviously enjoy this place at least as much.
The hotel is clean and quite new, the location is just wonderful (7 min. from RER station). The staff was very kind and attentive to our needs and complaints (there was a problem with a tap in the bathroom that was fixed very quickly). I believe it's the best quality/price ratio I've ever seen in Paris (and I've seen lots of hotels in this city).
We chose this hotel due to its close proximity to our son's home. It has this faux Canadian theme - supposedly in keeping with it's green ethos? Seemed a bit gimmicky to be honest! The rooms are small as is usually the case in Paris. The shower room was ok - but the shower tray overflowed if you took too long! My main complaint regarding the rooms was the noise of banging doors from other rooms. We were in 55 on the 5th floor and the adjacent room had the loudest banging door - seemed like they were in our room! However on a positive note, the beds are comfortable and the aircon is very efficient. Foe three nights of the four we stayed the breakfast room was very quiet - however on Sunday morning it was packed and there was very little food left on the buffet! Apart from this the breakfast was quite adequate. This was our first stay in the 13th arr. We have visited Paris many times - we liked the choice of quality food shops and the restaurants in this area.. It's only 20 mins from the centre of Paris - not as far out as some people seem to think! The staff were very pleasant and helpful
We stayed in a ground floor room which had disabled access and a large shower room (we didn't request it so not sure why we got this room). I think if you needed wheelchair access then the bathroom would be fine, however, the room itself was small with no room to manoeuvre around the bed and desk. The bed and pillows were comfortable and even though we were on the ground floor we were not disturbed by noise from the street. There was a bit of noise in the morning from the reception area as the room is right next to it. There was a t.v with 2 English channels. The bathroom was clean and the soap/shower gel were nice. A/C worked well in the 38 degrees heat. There was a safe in the cupboard but it wasn't attached to anything so just as safe as a locked suitcase really! Location is quiet and within walking distance to local buses and trains. Check in and check out was smooth and staff were very polite. Overall a short and sweet stay with no real complaints.
This was only a short stay (one night) but I really enjoyed this little hotel. The location is fine, Tolbiac street is probably not touristic but genuily parisian with plenty of real-life shops, not touristic craps, and bistrots all along. and 5 minutes walk from Olympiades station (Line 14), one of the greatest line of the RATP. Line 4 (or was it 6?) is not that far either - and actually you can walk to the Gare d'Austerlitz or the Gare de Lyon, something like 15-25 minutes. Now the hotel itself has something unique - very environment-friendly orientated, with a wood & stones trendy decoration all over the place. Trendy lobby too. Double windows make the rooms fully insulated from street noises (Tolbiac is very active and lively). Room are comfy with a nice decoration - apparently they like bears. Complementary WIFI was decently fast - sometimes it bugs but you just need to reconnect and it works fine. Bathroom are small but functional with a trendy design as well. Kind and polite staff at front desk. As most small hotels in Paris, breakfast is downstairs at the -1 level - in a blind room then. However, it was OK and freshly squeezed orange juice is not that frequent. There is a small fitness room plus a sauna, downstairs too - if you practice early in the morning, virtually you exercice yourselves while other guests have their breakfast, but this oddity is part of the charm of this hotel. There is no restaurant but apparently you can order food to be delivered in your room at decent price (and there are plenty of brasseries all around anyway). I certainly will stay again at the Green Hotel! To me it suits both for business and for tourist/romatinc trip in Paris. An excellent adress!
Parking in private garage In the area there is not much happening, but it is a short walk to the metro Easy to reach by car Room, not so big, but perfect for citytrip Breakfast fine Friendly reception! Good value for money!
Very nice hotel. I will gladly visit it again. The rooms were confortable and clean. The breakfast was nice and rich enough. The personal was friendly and ready to help. Within five minutes walking distance there were two stations of the Metro.
Hotel was very comfortable. The wifi was very variable which is not great with a teenager in tow!! The bubble jets were great. Our shower didn't work the second night so reported it on checkout so assuming it would have been dealt with. Daughter has Coeliac disease and despite informing prior to arrival there were no gf cereals or breads so yogurt and fruit were the only options. Didn't go to breakfast on day 2 for this reason. Only a 5 minute walk to the underground and plenty of restaurants around. It's a good base for a Paris trip.
