The hotel is very quant, and has a romantic modern vibe to it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs during the stay.

Staff are super friendly, everyone from front desk to the cleaners and everyone in-between. The rooms are tiny...micro rooms. The price that we paid it would have been nice to have breakfast included, we paid a small fortune for this room, but it was new years eve so I think prices were on average higher. The decor is awesome and for a tiny place they did an amazing job. Very modern and luxurious. Location is about 30 minute walk to latin Quarter and 10 minute walk to a cool local restaurant/market area.....its also an easy flat 1 hour walk to Eiffel Tower.

The Five is a tiny boutique hotel on a quiet street in a very quiet neighborhood. I stayed in a single, which was tiny (it is Paris, and all rooms are small), but gorgeously decorated, spotless, and with the limited space maximized. Little touches like fiber-optic lights in the shower & shower head, pocket window coverings, and accent lights made the room seem like more than just a place to crash after tours. Continental breakfast and afternoon tea are free and delicious, with fresh fruit always available. Staff were very kind, always willing to help me find my way or translate key tourist phrases. The hotel is located half a kilometer from the RER line to/from CDG and a quarter kilometer from the metro line to the Lourve and shopping areas. If you don't mind a 15 min metro/train ride, you can access just about anywhere in central Paris. The only subtraction is for the distance/quietness. I was sometimes wary walking on completely empty streets early in the morning and late at night.

exceptionally clean rooms, perfect for romantic get away, had flower petals on bed on arrival. not optimal for exploring paris museums or monuments, miles from major attractions like eiffel tower arc de triomph, galleries lafayette, the lourve or notre dame. in a very quiet neighborhood at nite. made very efficient use of space though overall the room was small, shower stall was cramped, service overall cordial, good value for paris

Love this place. Cute, small but had everything. Staff super nice. Great neighborhood in Paris. Breakfast was really good, fresh, complete. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely go again!

I happened to get sick the night before I arrived. [...], The woman who I spoke with at the hotel, allowed me to check into the room a few hours early and offered to call me a doctor. Everyone at the hotel is great and I would highly recommend staying there especially if you're traveling alone............

I was in Paris with my husband to celebrate my birthday. This was my first trip there, my husband's second. Unfortunately, our luggage was delayed upon arrival, but the staff at the hotel helped us out by calling the airline several times. The luggage arrived within 24 hours of us checking in. Anytime we had a question or needed assistance they were more than happy to help us. All of them speak very good English which helps when you arrive in a foreign country. We were given specific instructions on how to get to where we wanted to go, help with dinner reservations, taxi and bus info, etc. I only wish that breakfast was included in the price, you have to pay extra for it. However, I did ask for a few cups of tea which they didn't charge me for. It's kept very clean, and the bath products are L'Occitane. We didn't use it, but they have a laptop that you can take up to your room. It's a small hotel so there aren't many amenities, but they do have nice touches like that...and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff really made up for anything that was lacking.

Very helpful English-speaking staff, nice rooms- great decor and free wifi. Wish it were slightly closer to the metro or to the main sites/shopping areas, but it was conveniently located near a regional train station in direct line with the airport.

Helpful and accomodating

Fantastic stay at The Five Hotel. Hip, quaint, trendy boutique hotel. Very original decor. Excellent staff, very professional, apporachable and very helpful. We walked around the City alot, so the location was alittle further way from the sites than expected but there are plenty of great streets to explore on your way to the main tourist sites of Paris. Lots of yummy restaurants on Montparness too. I would highly recommend stopping at the near by market (literally around the corner) for bottled water, wine or snack foods to keep you your room. The rooms and bathrooms are pretty cozy but very original and fun!

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were tiny but very modern with great lighting and a romantic vibe with faux rose petals strewn on the beds. The location was on a quiet side street in the Latin Quarter but close enough for an ambitious walk to the Siene/Notre Dame and the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg.

Hotel was not in center of town, but the staff at this hotel was wonderful and very helpful. Nice to come to a quite hotel after a busy day in the city. Two metros very close by so you never have to take a taxi. The rooms were small but comfortable and very clean. Great deal!!!

The Room was lovely, cozy, comfortable and romantic. Love the fact that the room always smells great. It is on the smaller size, but for me it was just perfect. Location wise it is not close to metro, but its not that far of a walk.

The hotel has a lot to like: great location right off of boulevard Port Royal and close to the countless bars of rue Mouffetard; friendly and accommodating staff; stylish and original rooms; comfortable bed. The room size is a major shortcoming even by Parisian standards: luggage have to stay right next to the bed unless you're in for a longer stay and put your belongings in the [small] closet. The shower was really really tiny: At 6' (and fit) I could hardly turn or bend in the shower. It's funny but not very practical. The breakfast room was nice but I wasn't impressed with the viennoiserie (croissant, pain au chocolat) that didn't seem super fresh. The hotel would be a much better value with slightly bigger rooms and a regular shower. It was interesting to stay there for the design of the hotel but I'd feel claustrophobic after one night.

Had a great stay. Staff friendly and the location is convenient to 2 different metro stops. Very stilish and interesting decor

This was a very interesting hotel. While the rooms were small they were well appointed. Everything was pretty new and upmarket toiletries etc. The location was a bit far from the Metro (10-15 minute walk), but it was quiet. The hotel was as advertised on the website, a bit funky with the Red padded Elevator with TV to the light show in the shower. As I said the room was very small but the bed was comfortable. the staff were great and if you are looking for something different this is a great choice.

We were on our honeymoon. Booked based on some good reviews. This place is only good if you are staying for a night or two max. The rooms didn't fit our 2 suitcases and I barely fit in the shower. We asked to move the first day, were told we could move the next night...after three nights they offered us a suite for 500 Euro more or a similar room for 100 Euro more. Felt like they strung us along as we would have moved to another hotel if we knew we wouldn't get a bigger room.. Turns out standard size rooms don't exist here...except the one suite. Small even for European standards! Would not recommend this place. One more thing...we got off our overnight flight and arrived to the hotel at 9am. Asked if we could check in early on a Monday. They said we could leave our luggage and come back at 3 or 4pm. The good...their staff is knowledgeable and helpful for getting around Paris. Also, their decor is eclectic and funky (if you like that).

Very nice, very clean. Rooms are small, but that's to be expected. Beds are great. The location is great. It's quiet and calm. Cool decor, though they might have tried just a bit too hard to be cool. No restaurant, no lobby bar, no pool, no gym, but a fantastic staff. Very, very helpful. They actually loaned us a laptop to take to the room, where there is free wifi.
