This is our go-to hotel when in Paris. It is perfectly located to shops and attractions. The staff is professional and friendly. Rooms are a bit small, but well appointed. Requests honored. The restaurant is perfect for breakfast and the bar elegant for a drink before or after dinner. My only regret is that there is too much to do in Paris to find the time to enjoy the hotel’s spa.
Stayed at this boutique style hotel with my husband on a two night break following Christmas. It’s less than 5 walk from Madeleine metro station so we were glad to reach the hotel and not have to drag our bags down random streets. Hotel is modern with excellently appointed rooms with tall ceilings. We just stayed in a classic room and it was plenty of space for our needs. The staff were friendly and the doormen were always happy to open the doors and great us with a happy face. The hotel has an indoor spa with pool but we didn’t use these facilities so can’t comment. Breakfast was pretty standard continental style, not extensive as you’d expect from an large international chain but the quality was great. The best thing about the hotel was the close proximity to the high end designer shops. Chanel and Louis Vuitton are both a stones throw away and almost every major designer label are within easy walking distance. The atmosphere in the area is very laid back and not noisy and crowded so it was lovely to amongst these shops but it not feel too hectic.
Great location (between Madelaine et rue St Honore) for great power shopping! Cool deco and bar tender service. Very good experience thanks to great staff, very patient with the young kids (2 and 4). Thank you
We decided to visit Paris for 3 nights over New Years and I researched the various options before choosing what I hoped to be a great hotel. ‘Great’ is an understatement. The hotel, staff and facilities are perfect. The deluxe room is lovely with a bath and a powerful walk in shower, the bedroom is very spacious with two large windows either side of the television and a really comfy bed. The staff are all extremely helpful and polite and can’t do enough for you, including the concierge. The spa features are a lovely addition, we used the pool, hammam and sauna which were all very nice. We did not try the restaurant except for breakfast which was lovely. Not a huge choice but what there was ‘a la carte’ was cooked and presented perfectly. We did not dine here on New Year’s Eve as the price was rather expensive. Finally, the location of the hotel is fantastic for all local amenities. I would highly recommend the hotel and would suggest staying here and choosing this above the others.
Short visit to go to the Dior Exhibition. Upgraded to a suite which was very comfortable. Room was big with 2 TV's. Slight problem with the TV stand in the bedroom posing a trip hazard in the night on visits to the loo. Bathroom had a faint wiff of drains? Breakfast was good, staff were helpful. Swimming pool in the basement is quite quirky but big enough for a short workout
thanks for the lovely week end I spent, the hotel is fantastically located in the hear of opera close to Madeline and Concorde The service is simply stunning while the hotel spa is at a very high standard. Room is great as well not a bad word to say, i will simply come back thanks again
I have been to the hotel several times . Rooms are very nicely renovated and give you a home like feeling. The bar us nice and so is the breakfast room . The breakfast is amazing . Very nice presentation and the room itself is beautiful. The location is the best possible. Very near to Madeleine and on St Honore. Highly recommended
Currently staying at Le Burgundy for a 3 night stay in Paris Beautiful room, lovely bar and reception. Courteous staff and excellent location just off Rue St Honore Fine bar and very good restaurant Loving our stay
Stayed four nights in a deluxe room on the third floor. Asked for a quiet room and it was indeed very quiet. The room was well appointed and maintained as was the bathroom. The only reason for four rather than five stars is because of the totally inefficient minibar. After travelling for several hours to arrive at a hotel I usually go straight to the minibar and pour myself a nice cold beer. I did this on arrival but the beer was actually lukewarm! The temperature of the minibar was actually higher that of the room. I reported this on two separate occasions to receptionists (and again at check-out) - on the first occasion I was informed that 'it was a minibar not a fridge!' I'm afraid that this is a classic case of 'form-over-function'. The minibar is discreetly housed in a closet in an air-tight section with no ventilation at all, so the unit and contents just heat up. This is not rocket science management, so sort it out!
Superb hotel, excellent service. One of the best restaurant experiences. Only disappointment was the spa which we thought was not the best value for money. Would definitely return to Le Burgundy Hotel
