Probably the best hotel experience I have ever had! Very luxurious, comfortable and high-class! The rooms are very spacious and a real treat to stay at, with the finest details taken care of! Would highly recommend!
So this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was absolutely amazing and so helpful with information about not just the surrounding area but pretty much all of Paris and even some ideas for day trips out of the city. The hotel itself is very clean with comfortable beds and quiet rooms. In the morning there is an amazing breakfast that is not free but definitely worth splurging on at least once during your stay. If you like shopping the hotel is in a great district and right across the street from all the fancy jewelry stores (Tiffany's, Harry Winston etc). Its a short walk to the Louvre and the gardens surrounding there and the staff was helpful in getting directions and tickets to Eiffel Tower.
As a World-of-Hyatt Globalist member I know that I get extra care taken of me with Hyatt, but the Park Hyatt did a superb job. They rustled me up a great upgrade, sent up a bottle of wine and everyone was really friendly every time I interacted with them. I lucky that I had a free night as the property is pretty pricey.
We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Park Hyatt. The location is great - 3 minutes to the opera house, and 15 minute walk to the louvre. The hotel was artfully decorated and the room was elegant. The service was excellent. We especially appreciated the help of the management staff, Lea at reception, and Camille at the concierge desk. They all went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We will be back again!
It looks little from the outside, but inside a beautiful and big lobby with fireplace and chairs welcomed you. This is the first time I stayed here, I stayed for 2 nights for business trip. Location is excellent, you have everything for shopping, sightseeing, eating, and bars around. The room is good although I have a difficulty to find mine at first (this building is huge and many corridors). I think I have the Park-Queen room, personally the bed and amenities are excellent and the compliment is good (in addition they give a box of chocolate). However, I have some drawbacks the door for the spa shower does not really cover the water splash since the bathtub which is located next to the shower is not covered. Also my toilet lights are off in the 2nd day morning, I try to ask the reception to fix it and apparently it never get fixed until my checkout (which is the next-day). Overall I enjoy my stay there, the food is good, and the bar is beautiful. Thank You
It is located in the nice shopping area of Paris and near many restaurants. The staff was very attentive and wonderful. The porters remember my name as I come and go from the Hotel. I came in early and they were able to check me in before the scheduled check in time. The front desk not only let me check in early but also gave me a better room.
This is our second stay at the Park Hyatt. It's hard to complain about this place. The service is excellent, the location is central and excellent as well. We were thanked for returning, and the staff is courteous and helpful.
There are so many things to love about this hotel. It's next door to the beautiful Place Vendôme and around the corner from everywhere. The rooms and the public spaces are elegant and comfortable. With the notable exception of the ubiquitous little metal statues -- rough-hewn humanoid figurines that are perhaps intended to evoke Prometheus but end up looking more like Gollum -- the decor and ambience are just about perfect. Depending which staff members you deal with, you might also get excellent service. We were fortunate to meet some capable and resourceful young people at the reception desk, and our waiters and waitresses were cheerful and industrious. But then we had a few encounters with hotel staff who could not seem to get things right and/or who didn't seem to care. The most remarkable of these incidents was when we came to breakfast one morning. The reception desk in the restaurant area was staffed by a young woman who was on her mobile phone having what appeared to be a personal conversation. She ignored us for about thirty seconds. Then she made eye contact in what seemed like a friendly way, but she went right on with her conversation. She seemed lighthearted and a bit flirtatious, so I'm pretty sure the call wasn't about her mother being in the emergency room. After at least another minute, or maybe two, she told her caller "J'ai des clients" in a sad sort of way. Then she said goodbye to the caller and hello to us and cheerfully showed us to a table, with no apology or explanation about the phone call. Another disappointing surprise was that the hotel restaurant seemed incapable of serving a hot cup of coffee. This is not an uncommon problem in busy restaurants, but almost everybody gets it right the second time. In the Park Hyatt Vendôme the coffee still wasn't hot even after we sent it back for reheating. On the second morning we changed our order from cappuccino to cafe au lait and still had the same problem. The coffee also took forever to get to us, so our guess was that there was miscommunication between the kitchen and the servers and the coffee was sitting on a counter somewhere for ten minutes or so before being brought to us. On balance we loved the hotel and enjoyed our stay there. But if the Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme wishes to be regarded as a great hotel rather than just a good one, its employees should avoid rookie mistakes.
My husband and I stayed at the Vendome for our fourth visit. What a delightful 3 night Christmas experience. The hotel is situated in the nicest of neighborhoods with spectacular holiday decorations everywhere one looked. The staff is the most attentive and gracious as ever and our room was gorgeous with a comfortable bed, window facing the courtyard and a large bathroom with a door at both ends. We appreciate the separate luggage space, good lighting, 2 sinks, more than enough drawer space and shelves for cosmetics. The breakfast is one of the best offered by the lovely Hyatt Hotel group. I experienced having my wallet stolen by a pick pocket in a nearby chocolate store on Christmas Eve. The hotel staff assisted me through the entire process of calling credit card companies and filling out police forms. Thanks to the incredible caring staff the situation was totally minimized and allowed us to completely enjoy the remainder of the vacation. We can't wait to return to the Vendome.
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Hyatt Vendome during our Anniversary visit to Paris ! Loved everything about this true 5 Star palace hotel. From the complimentary bottle of champagne sent up to our room, the wonderful front desk staff, the knowledgeable and friendly front door staff and concierge, the location of the hotel, all were simply superb! We've stayed at many of the world's finest properties, and this hotel is surely amongst the top! Thank you Park Hyatt Vendome !
