thank goodness for the park hyatt; just off place vendome with a location and ambience that is above 5 star. the staff makes the hotel howerever, and if and when you stay here, you will experience a level of caring and understanding that defines what makes a hotel great. i hope you can; its exceptional!
Katie, at the front desk, set the tone for the entire stay. She was marvelous, attitude, knowledge and helpfulness. She even sent us a list of her favorite restaurants in Paris. Quite delightful! And so was the rest of our stay. A total 5*
The service was outstanding, which went above and beyond, the rooms were immaculate as expected for a hotel of this caliber. The food was spectacular as well. The hotel location is very good as well being relatively close to most attractions.
After a stellar stay last year, I thought the PHP-Vendome would find it difficult to top their performance. Yet, they did....from their 'way above the bar' excellent service and personnel at reception, to their housekeeping staff who excel at keeping the rooms clean, comfortable, and impeccable, to their ever creative and helpful concierge staff who manage to meet your every wish with great problem-solving skills... From where to find the best baguette in P to the best bar for the oenophile visitor, they make your request a reality. Thank you, PH and Mr. Ceccherelli, for a too short-lived paradise in Paris!
Excellent hotel, the hotel takes care of all your needs. Perfectly located in the heart of Paris and close to major luxury shopping street. Breakfast ist great and so is the lunch Only minus point is that there is no Swimming Pool.
I read great things about the hotel, and they were not wrong. It started with check in and being escorted to your room by the person who checked you in the hotel. Our bags arrived the same time we all arrived at the door as did the champagne i ordered---just impeccable timing what can one say. the the room---I had no real hopes of a balcony street room, but that is what they gave us....perfect. We slept with the window open, and although there was traffic we could sleep thru anything. Then the barmen were all excellent and nice as was the early morning doorman who was very nice and polite and we talked to him each night. The spa is just fantastic. I was worried my poor French would be a disaster in the massage, but both massage therapist spoke English. It all starts in the beginning as with first impressions. ----Alison checked us in and was simply fantastic to us considering we had been up a long time and came right from the long flight and airport. We will stay here again no doubt about it.
Fantastic welcoming committee . People who really care about you , at all levels . Excellent food quality Extreme cleanliness . Everything has really been beyond expectations . I can only strongly recommend this hotel .
The service is jaw dropping - form the moment your taxi pulls up to the hotel, to the check-in experience, to the dining. Rooms are fantastically set up. Generous closet and bathroom space. Quiet interior rooms (which is what we choose - very quiet!) and great rooms of the street buildings on Rue de la Pais (the room of our friend). The bedding is great, automatic lighting and shades, coffee machine, every attention do detail was thought through very well in this hotel. The daily maid service was incredible. Food was so good - morning brunch was great- all the traditional French treats you would expect - and the dinners were great - so much that I looked forward to room service. Lastly, the spa was also a terrific set up. I would say I would come back in a heartbeat, it's central, the service is great and friendly, and the hotel is modern and traditionally French at the same time.
We stayed for 3 nights in two connecting rooms with wife and 2 kids. Let me start by saying we arrived earlier than expected, around noon, and checkin time is technically not till 3 pm. I tweeted Hyatt around 1000 am when I got onto an earlier flight and they said they would try their best. At check in, I was informed the rooms were not ready unfortunately. The front desk agent then told us to please drinks on them at the restaurant to unwind after the flight! I had a glass of Bordeaux, wife had a champagne, and kids had 2 glasses of milk. Our server told us we could order whatever we liked! Of course I felt uncomfortable to order more (that I’ll alone would have been over 100 euro btw - champagne itself was50 euro per glass!). So we relaxed a bit and explored the tulliers garden nearby for some time. Room was ready by 2 pm. I was impressed at this unnecessary gesture by the front desk. The rooms are small but totally comfortable. Connecting rooms are wonderful. The best part of the rooms are the bathrooms! Showers are amazing with fog free mirror with sink inside a huge rain shower. What a cool way to shave! Toto toilet with built in electric heated seat, self cleaning bidet and dryer is awesome. Location is unbeatable. Can walk to all major tourist spots within 15 - 20 min. Did not eat in hotel - looks quite pricey. Front desk allows food delivery to come straight to room (use deliveroo or other apps). So many great restaurants and cafe in walking distance. Small markets nearby for wine and cheese, etc. Will never stay at any other hotel in Paris.
My husband had originally booked us into Hyatt Louvre for our visit to Paris to celebrate my birthday but we were moved to the Vendome due to the renovation works at the Hyatt Louvre. We had a simply wonderful stay there. All the staff were welcoming, professional and provided an exemplary service - the reception and concierge desks could not have been more helpful and also ensured that all the extra requests my husband had made for my birthday were met. Our room, which overlooked the internal courtyard was comfortable with beautiful decor. We opted for a late lunch in the courtyard on our first day, where we discovered the fabulous Rubis drink (you definitely get your five a day if you have one of them! :-)) Cant wait until we plan our next trip to Paris, as I already know the accommodation that I will book.
