We spent five nights in the Hotel Observatoire prior to a Seine River Cruise with AMA. The staff spoke excellent English and made us feel comfortable as we tried to speak our limited French. The breakfast included in our room rate was served in the adjoining Cafe Luco. An RER metro stop was within a 100 yards and very convenient. We were close to Luxembourg Gardens and within walking distance of St Germain and the Left Bank sites. We had a room overlooking the street. The sirens were loud but on the fourth floor it was quieter. We could open our window slightly for air and the A/C worked weill We had a great stay and look forward to returning again.

This is a return family trip to Paris and a return to Hotel Observatoire. A great choice for the foreign traveler. One block from the RER B with direct travel from the airport (10 euro per person). The rooms are comfortable, contemporary, large bathroom, clean, really good beds. Neighborhood is family and student Parisian with the incredible Luxemburg Gardens across Rue St. Michel. Good central point for visiting the major sites. The best part is the staff. Friendly, extremely helpful, fluent in several languages. My daughter and I appreciate Seima, Leticia, and Francoise's assistance.

Already planning to stay here again on our next trip to Paris. Wonderful, warm staff; excellent location with easy metro access (especially if arriving by train from CDG); perfectly situated across from the Luxembourg Garden, poised for exploration of the Latin Quarter and St Germain; comfortable, charming rooms...and fabulous breakfast! Thank you to Virginie and the entire team - a la prochaine!

Champagne awaited us in our room...pre-ordered through their Concierge, who was in touch with us online and in person as needed from the moment we booked. When guests arrived, we relocated to the lobby, where the amazing staff ensured we had four matching glasses and great advice on restaurants in the area. Our room was cozy and immaculately clean. The breakfast provided was of the highest quality, and the staff throughout the hotel went out of their way to make our weekend fun!

My husband and I, and another couple spent four evenings at the Hotel Luxembourg Observatoire. Our group are seasoned travelers of Paris, and we all agreed this was our favorite hotel so far. First, the location is superb. Close to the Luxembourg Gardens and all across the street from a Metro stop. May restaurants and cafes in the area, we walked everywhere. Second, the staff is friendly and very helpful. One of the men who work at the hotel actually fixed my friend’s broken eyeglasses when she asked him where to buy glue! The front desk works very hard to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Third, while the rooms are quite tiny, they are charming. And the beds are comfortable. We lived the decorative style of the entire hotel: playful yet chic. Lastly, the breakfast buffet was quite delicious and filling. We fell in love with the special coffee machine. Thank you for an amazing visit, we will return!

Great location, and super friendly, helpful staff! Easy access to bus and metro, Near the Luxembourg Gardens, and Notre Dame (we walked there) Nice enclosed sidewalk cafe Everything clean and well-maintained The biggest selling point is the staff, however!

L'Hotel Observatoire Luxembourg is a superb hotel. The staff are extremely helpful, the breakfast is marvellous, and the location affords easy access to all Paris has to offer. Check in was effortless. The concierge had a taxi waiting for us on the day of our departure. And the folks in the restaurant are charming. We'll stay there again on our next trip to the city.

I have loved staying the the hotel Observatoire Luxembourg. The position is vary favorable and nice. Very professional and helpful staff. I loved to be here and will consider this hotel for my next trips in Paris.

I celebrated my 50th birthday in Paris and stayed at this hotel. I absolutely LOVED my exerience at this hotel. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in, and I travel alot. The staff was always nice, friendly and, always very helpful. Included breakfast was really nice and well stocked!!!! The large bathroom was the icing on the cake for me. My room also had large french style windows that actually opened very wide which was a welcoming and lovely plus. There is no iron provided, I didn't ask for 1 either. We arrived early Sunday morning, we were able to leave our bags and roam around town until check in because no rooms were avaiable yet. That was bad planning on my part.

We have stayed at this lovely little hotel twice, once as a couple and once with two of our young children. Very different trips! For our family trip, they gave us a large room on the first floor (it may be the only one this size?) that fit all four of us comfortably with a large bathroom. Everything was wonderful. It would be a lovely room for someone who needs wheelchair accessibility as well. It was very quiet, even being just steps from the restaurant where we had breakfast each morning. Our favorite thing about this place, however, is the proximity to the Luxembourg Gardens, one of the loveliest spaces in Paris. Our kids sailed the wooden boats for hours. Great location for individuals, couples or families with young kids! Thank you for your hospitality.
