I recently stayed at 1k with a friend for her birthday. We arrived late and the receptionist was very nice and welcoming. As soon as we got in to the room, we got blown away ! Beautiful space, great bed and warm swimming pool on the rooftop with a view of Paris...what else? Nice breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and various choice of products. Another amazing time at 1k hotel, looking forward to our next visit.
Recently in Paris for 4 days and stayed at 1k Paris. The place is nice, has a bar and restaurant (which we didn't eat in) and the staff are friendly. The room was big, had a fridge but nowhere to make a cup of tea/coffee (that might just be Europe though). The location is fantastic, either one to three minute walk to the metro. The language barrier was abit of a challenge when asking for things like an iron but they came through. I would recommend staying. Heaps of trendy shops around and tons of places to eat and drink.
The 1K Paris hotel is an amazing design hotel with lovely staff and an impressive interior. I loved my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms are very spacious ( XL Junior Suite), and have a minibar, a very spatious bathroom with bathtub and are equipped with the latest tech (various lighting modes, Chromecast, movies, music, etc). In terms of location, this hotel is perfectly located right behind Republique and in walking distance of Le Marais, and only 4 stops from Gare du Nord. The interior, nice staff, great design and comfortable rooms have convinced me to stay at the 1K for my upcoming business trips!
We booked 5 nights in March 2017 and overall enjoyed our stay. The first night we were in a room facing the street and it was too noisy with traffic all night but they were very accommodating when we asked to move the next morning. The cocktail bar on the ground floor was lovely. Breakfast was good but very slow service, we waited nearly 30mins for omlettes. The restaurant was average. One bad point - I rang reception on our second night to ask what time the swimming pool stayed open until and was told that the swimming pool was not open access and that I would have to pay 240 euros to access it!!! I told them that I had been under the impression when booking that the swimming pool was open access and was told i was misinformed. So wasn't very impressed by that as it was one of the main reasons we booked! But the reception staff were otherwise helpful overall. Wifi cover was poor at times in the rooms.
The hotel has a really nice modern interior, We had a nice big room with high ceilings, The location is really good to its close to a lot of the tourist attractions and close to the metro station, The staff was really helpful and welcoming, Only negatives is the wifi only worked on one device in our room reception gave us another code and tried a few things but still didn't work They also charge your credit/debit €150 on arrival for a safety deposit But overall a nice hotel which is ideal for a weekend in Paris.
Certainly amongst the finest of the "leshotelsdeparis" hotels. Great location, located in the "marais" district, walking distance from a subway station, clean room, good bed, well kept bathroom, choice of various bedroom lighting modes (color presets), helpful staff, quality breakfast (limited choice but products offered of high quality). What more would you want?
We chose this hotel because of its location near Republic Square, but the hotel itself is also very nice. The decorations are very interesting, there is even a real iguana in the hall! The food was delicious and also the staff was really helpful. Philippe at the reception gave us so much advices about what to see neerby and how to get to different places and was really nice to us during our stay. So we recommend this hotel, 4 stars but really could be 5 stars, as for me!
This hotel is beautiful decorated, spacious rooms with luxurious bathrooms and ample wardrobe space. Coffee machine is a nice bonus usually reserved 5star hotels. Conveniently located in a good "arrondisement". Overall great value.
We were pleased with our pick of the 1K for our first stay in Paris. Pluses: Location - loved the area, surrounded by so many great restaurants/wine bars, but not super touristy Cleanliness - our room was kept very clean Okays: The rooms are pretty small, but I imagine this is the case with many hotels in Paris (as in most big cities). Wifi - Great most of the time, but strangely disconnected at certain times. When we called the front desk to ask we were just told to log-in to another room's Wifi (they are all separate) which seemed like an odd solution. Staff - Overall the staff was great, but we did have a few weird experiences. The one time we visited the bar the bartender seemed a little annoyed that we ordered food (he was busy with a large party so that is likely the reason, not a huge deal); the front desk gentleman at checkout seemed a bit confused and charged me the wrong amount for tax at first then told me I hadn't paid yet, he also didn't know the main Wifi password so we were not able to summon an Uber from the lobby. Negatives - Nothing really bad to say. A good place to stay in Paris!
The staff is so nice, the Manager Lamine Mizi is wonderful. the rooms are super clean, the location is great! they have free movies and room service, the staff has great recommendations fro restaurants and shopping I have stayed there 3 times in the last year already. I plan on staying there in the future as well!
