this was a great find in the heart of Paris , walking distance to most of the sights from the Arc to the tower to shopping . Very help full staff. Great breakfast every morning. I would stay here again. This was an old mansion at one time that has been converted to a hotel. Same owner owns 3/4 other hotels in Paris for upper and lower budgets.
As usual Julian and the other staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Anything we needed was quickly taken care of. Over the years we have stayed in different rooms, we love the décor, the views and the beds are really comfortable! Location is amazing, close to the metro, and in walking distance to many of the major sites. We won't be staying anywhere else. Close to metro, Arc de Triumph and beautiful 45 minute walk down the Champs Elyse through the Place de Concorde, the Tuileries to the Louvre.
I read the good reviews on this hotel, and rates were good, so I booked a room for my trip with my daughter. I was very pleased with the charm of the hotel. It is lovely. It is not overly new, or garish, but tasteful classic decor. The staff is welcoming, professional and kind. I loved Simon, the bartender and manager of room service. We had tea and cocktails in the salon, and then room service as well. The food was great and there was such attention to detail. Simon was so kind, and I felt so pampered by the service. Our room was decent size for Paris standards. No view, but quiet and a comfortable bed with soft sheets. The bathroom was nice - it had a lighted magnifying mirror, marble floors and countertop. I love having a bathtub/shower. It had all of the amenities I look for - minibar, safe, bathtub, lighted mirror, hair dryer, soft bathrobes...I enjoyed breakfast downstairs at the buffet. They had a full buffet with two kinds of eggs, cheeses, meats, cereal, yogurt choices, fresh fruit, fresh fruit juices, pancakes, toast, and they brought me coffee with steamed milk and a basket of croissants. It was my favorite breakfast this trip! We stayed 4 nights in this gem of a hotel in Paris. Merci to the hotel and staff!
As a frequent traveler I’ve tried many hotels and Airbnb around the world but in Paris I’ve always stayed with friends, which can be very nice but also restrictive in the long run. From now on I know I can come to Paris as much as I want, without putting pressure on friends, have my freedom and feel like being at home. It’s even better than having my own Pied à terre !!The Keppler hôtel is the perfect boutique, charming and elegant hotel without being ostentatious or pretentious, the staff makes you feel special and you soon forget you’re in a hotel. Because I was traveling without my husband I had the standard room, which is fairly small but very cozy and well appointed. I was able to invite my friends and family over and have a nice coupe de champagne in the living room, comme à la maison ! The breakfast was good, they have a buffet in a nice dining room or room service which I usually prefer. There’s no restaurant but the hotel has an agreement with one of the restaurants next door and I was able to taste the Croque Madame on the evening of my arrival, I was happy to just enjoy staying in bed and still have something to eat. The mini bar is well stocked as well. No coffee machine in the standard room and no ironing board ( this is a comment for the US clientele!) but housekeeping will be happy to bring you one ! The location is not the most touristy one, which is exactly what I was looking for, but very central for visiting friends and family who leave in the West side of Paris. I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks !!
I love to return to Hotel Keppler for my weekend trips in Paris, for its stylish, beauttiful rooms and the amazing lobby, among many other things. The staff is always welcoming and very helpful, and the breakfast is a real treat. After a long walk in the city it is a pleasure to sink in on the sofas in the lobby for a nice cup of tea or a glass of champagne and to just stay there for a while and enjoy the calm and elegant Parisien atmosphere . The rooms are very quiet, so a qood quality sleep is quaranteed. I recommend - and keep coming back!
Wow! This hotel is superb in every way. Great location and super friendly staff! The front desk arranged for a rental car so my new bride and I could drive to the Normandy area for a day to visit Mont St. Michelle. On our one month anniversary a white tablecloth was arranged at a small table where the staff ordered carry out dinner from a local restaurant. There was never a shortage of coffee in our room and the breakfast was very good. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Just strolling the streets at night or picking out a bottle of wine from the grocery store just around the corner made our stay memorable. As a traveler who stays in hotels over 150 nights a year, I like to seek out the smaller hotels noted for their cleanliness and attentive staff. The Keppler hotel will be our preferred hotel when my bride and I return again someday. Sorry it has taken awhile to get this review posted but we didn't want to neglect the outstanding stay and service we received. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special!
We had a 5 day visit with the family and stayed in a suite. Charming little place, very friendly staff, clean, good breakfast. The highlight is really the friendliness of the staff and the care they show for their guests. Also great location, 5 min walk from the Champs d' Elyssee. Highly recommended!!!
Four nights at Hotel Keppler. The Hotel Keppler enjoys a great location, blocks from the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triumph, near Paris Metro (George V station), and the new Yves Saint Laurent museum. Very walkable area. We booked a standard room, upgraded from the classic room. Rooms and the bathrooms are absurdly small (think NYC); shower in the bathtub, no separate shower. Transfer from Gare du Nord and breakfast included with our booking and rate. The hotel is clean, attractive and, for the most part, the staff are helpful. Breakfast was better than expected with many choices. Great coffee, but no coffee maker in the room. This is not a luxe hotel, but is more than adequate.
This was a wonderful experience. The staff was amazing. They made reservations for us. Put together custom maps. Held packages. Whatever our request they did not disappoint. Our room was quite and comfortable. The first night my wife's comment was "I do not know how much we are paying but the bathroom is worth every penny.". The location is great and it is easy to get to the metro.
Simply Hotel Keppler is the only place to stay if visiting Paris. From the moment you arrive you're welcomed into a beautiful space of tranquility, Parisian elegance & excellent customer service. Apart from being an excellent location & short 6min walk to Champs Elysees, Hotel Keppler is there to make your stay special at every turn. Special mention to Vincent, Simon, Philip & Rose who all made my 3rd visit with family very special. I look forward to returning again. Thank you all at Hotel Keppler.
