Campanile Paris 15 - Tour Eiffel2.0 out of 5.0

We have just returned from a weekend away at this hotel. The location is great as the Eiffel Tower is only a 10 minute walk and the metro is a few hundred yards away. The rooms are very dated and the bathroom is poorly designed with the toilet situated right next to the opening of the shower cubicle, this made getting in and out of the shower a bit tricky. My daughter was in a single room and the bed covered half of the doorway to the bathroom. The receptionist was pretty miserable and not very helpful at all. Just after we checked in I went back to reception to ask for a hairdryer as there was not one in the room. I was grudgingly given a hairdryer by the moody receptionist but when I asked for another one for my daughter I was told she could not have one as they did not have many left and we would have to share. I would not have had an issue with this except for the fact that I was on the 6th floor and my 16 year old daughter was in a single room on the 2nd floor. If they had hairdryers left what difference would it have made. The rest of the staff were very nice and it's a shame that they are let down by one individual.
Ok it was basic but for the price you are not going to get The Ritz, the room was very nice and clean, the staff were very friendly and its only a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and tour buses, me and my wife will be back here again
Rooms were very small, hardly enough room for our luggage. No A/C, very few electric outlets, really hot rooms. It was close to the tower and subway but I don't think I would stay there again. Double charged me, had to get that fixed the next day
Me and my wife checked in to this hotel last week of April 2017. Pros - 15 to 20-minute walk to Eiffel Tower - 5 to 10-minute walk to the nearest MRT Station - Decent breakfast (cereals, milk, bread, etc) - Convenience store available right across the street (which apparently closes at 2am) - Good wi-fi connection - Helpful staff - Clean hotel, inside and outside - Near to excellent restaurants Cons - Shower area not that big - Small room (you get what you pay for)
I booked this hotel in April for June 24th for my partners surprise 30th Birthday gift. After a lot of planning I arranged all the travel and excursions. So come Friday night I was ready to get some sleep as I had to leave my house at 5am to catch the Eurostar. I could not sleep so checked my emails at 11pm to find an email from booking.com at 10.53pm stating that Campanile had cancelled my booking and I no longer had a hotel! I was lucky to re-book at another location and still had a fab stay in Paris but I would warn others about booking here!! In what world is it acceptable to email at 10.53pm to cancel a reservation for the next day when it's been booked for 3 months!! STAY AWAY in my opinion!!!!
Room comparable with the worst motel. No cleaning up also upon request at the front desk. Room and bathroom so small, "only one plug AC available" to charge mobiles, laptop or what else Price med-high.
It is near metro 6 duplex, bus and tour eiffel. Opposite the hotel has small store. You can buy something for eating at morning and night. Too small room and bathroom but clean wifi connection is very good
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights last week. The best thing is that it is really close to Eiffel Tower(10min walking distance!!). Also there are 2 metro stops very close to this hotel (Bir-Hakiem and Dupleix). The old is quite ok. Rooms are very small, bath room and shower area is even smaller. Not recommended for family with kids. It was good that it had an elevator, however small and compact. The room is clean with very minimal facilities provided. There was no proper wardrobe or cupboard, no mirror in the room (only in the bath), no drawers, no cabinets. A chair, a table with coffee maker and instant coffee packets were provided. Towels and soap were provided in the bath. The breakfast buffet is quite decent and we had our breakfast both the days in the hotel itself. Just next to the hotel is a mini-mart which stays open till 2am and you can get all eatables there! Nearby area is full of good restaurants, eateries and shopping marts. Overall, this was a decent hotel for a 2 night stay and I would recommend to people who would want to stay close by to Eiffel Tower. In fact we could take late night walks (around 10/11pm) near eiffel tower and saw the eiffel all illuminated and flickering with lights :)
Nice location, 10 minutes to Tour Eiffel for countdown the new year The room is small and cool No drinking water and refrigerator in the room There are the kettle and coffee/tea/milk/sugar There is the mini-mart, opposite the hotel You can look at Tour Eiffel from the hotel
I loved this place! I was a bit sceptical, since prize was very low for Paris. I got a value deal and paid the same prize as for a student hotel. Location is great, just next to the Eiffel tower and a subway. Safe neighbourhood. I got a room at the top floor, with a typical French roof shaped room. The room was very cute with a gorgeous view. Bath facility were clean, well upkept. What can be improved is a lengths of a shower curtain (make it longer). The rest was great.
