Not expecting too much from a Paris 2 star budget hotel but have used Campanile chain before and they are usually modern, clean and functional. Unfortunately not this one. The rooms are cramped and I couldn’t access the bathroom without moving the bed (see pic). The decor is like something from the 70s and probably hasn’t been refreshed since then! The staff were pleasant enough but don’t have much interaction with guests apart from a slow and protracted check in. (They wouldn’t or couldn’t turn off the external floodlight illuminating my room and disturbing my sleep). Paris hotels aren’t cheap but I’ve got far better for the money in this city. On plus side it’s in a good location, near metro stations and the surrounding area is not short of decent cafes and restaurants.
The location of the hotel is great, but the room is very small with small bed. Breakfast was very basic & some of the receptionists & workers are not friendly & helpless. Ibrahim is friendly & helpful. Price is more than is required for this hotel
Hotel is a short walk from the metro and is realtively central, it is down a quiet (for Paris) street. I stayed as part of a smal group. The rooms are small and very basic. Room was a strange shape, I think because I had a corner room. Although I was booked in as a single I had a room with a double bed (good) plus a single squeezed in close to the bathroom. As all we needed was a bed for two nights, we had chosen a cheap (for Paris) hotel with few amenities. Breakfast was basic, coffee and a pastry. For the second morning we ate at a bar close to the hotel as the cofee was better. When on a business trip I ask myself would I stay here again (possibly) and bring my wife (no - too basic)
Its a small campanile well located in the heart of Paris. The rooms are very small, check in was a mess. My reservation was not in the systems but in Booking.com system. The bathroom is very small. The price is very high for the hotel.
The hotel is basically past its sell-by date. It's tired and untidy. The staff are very pleasant, the breakfast is good and there is free WiFi. However, the room was absolutely tiny, the single bed (though comfortable) was equally tiny and it was a real squeeze to get past the toilet to the shower (and I am slim!). The whole hotel needs to be redecorated, re-carpeted and generally given a bit of tender loving care. I wouldn't rush back.
The room was extremely small for a 2 adult leisure travelers. The door of our room was a bit worn out it seemed like anybody can open it wit a flick. The carpet was tired. The hallway leading to the room was tiny, no aircon in the rooms. We found dust on the electric fan including surface of the furnitures and side tables we had to clean it ourselves.
This hotel is lucky that is in a good location close to Eiffel otherwise nobody could stay there. I know that Paris is expensive but I didn't expect such a bad quality room with such terrible bathroom with that price. and the main thing that annoyed me the most was the service, staff were the rudest staff I have ever seen, I haven't been in any other hotel in Paris so I am not sure this is the routine behaviour of the hotels there. I heard that Parisians are different but didn't expect this for hotels which must make guests welcome. I felt it was worst than backpackers. No help, no service, no welcoming, the worst ever hotel.
we got the 7th floor ..the room was very specious and clean .. the bed was comfortable and the bed linen felt fluffy and new .. we slept very well. The bathroom are not the biggest .. but very well clean .. and the hot shower was great .. I a nutshell we really enjoyed our stay.. my partner said he appreciated the wonderful customer service .. we would love to come back next time we are in Paris
I got the room on the 7 floor, it was a very small room with a really small bathroom (I don't mind just telling you for those of you who don't like small places. The room didn't have AC but a small vent but the room had a big window so I slept with it opened. The hotel is very silent so y oy can sleep at night. You have a Supermarket on the left and some restaurants and stuffs next to the metro station to the left of the hotel. The staff isn't very friendly. They want you to buy the shuttle telling you that the metro is longer and worse but is not. It just took me an hour to get to the airport and is 10€ and the hotel shuttle is 26. I just went there to sleep so.i didn't care if they were friendly or not. They have a small breakfast but is not included. If you go walking to de.left to the eiffel tower right on the corner of the metro line and the main street of the eiffel tower you have a nice breakfast for 11€ with eggs bread the coffee. Is a nice hotel at a nice price in an excellent location.
We have just returned from a weekend away at this hotel. The location is great as the Eiffel Tower is only a 10 minute walk and the metro is a few hundred yards away. The rooms are very dated and the bathroom is poorly designed with the toilet situated right next to the opening of the shower cubicle, this made getting in and out of the shower a bit tricky. My daughter was in a single room and the bed covered half of the doorway to the bathroom. The receptionist was pretty miserable and not very helpful at all. Just after we checked in I went back to reception to ask for a hairdryer as there was not one in the room. I was grudgingly given a hairdryer by the moody receptionist but when I asked for another one for my daughter I was told she could not have one as they did not have many left and we would have to share. I would not have had an issue with this except for the fact that I was on the 6th floor and my 16 year old daughter was in a single room on the 2nd floor. If they had hairdryers left what difference would it have made. The rest of the staff were very nice and it's a shame that they are let down by one individual.
