We stayed here with a last minute well priced booking for our mini moon. Hotel is well placed close to metro station and in walking distance of many key locations (if you don't mind a 30mins+ walk which we don't - we like to explore!). Rooms are small but that was what we expected and we literally only used it as a base for washing and sleeping. Decor was quirky and service of staff fantastic and very helpful! We would stay here again! We stayed in the lust room with the heart mirror on ceiling - would love to see the other rooms!
if you've been to france in general and paris in specific, you'll know that space is very limited. for this price for this location, i think the room size is perfectly fine. bedding is good. bath is good. wifi works. etc. staff is very nice. the whole theme and decor of the hotel i find .... tacky. all a matter of personal taste, of course, but this is a boutique/concept hotel and the concept i find over the top. of course, it is no fault of theirs - if you looked into the hotel on the web you can see the pictures and judge for yourself. the other thing to note, is due to the decor, all of the surfaces (table tops, counters, etc) are shiny white or shiny piano black, and they tend to reveal lots of dust and scratches and wear... and it shows lots of corners that are quite dirty and aged. a different design choice probably would have "hidden" it better. the hotel is maybe 5 years old (?) but it looks older and dirtier than that.
This hotel was an amazing place to stay. So unique and romantic, the different moods of the rooms really adds character to your stay and makes you feel like you are in the heart of the Parisian culture. Not far from most attractions. 30 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower but you can just use the hire bikes for €1.70 which are literally right outside the hotel door. Definitely reccomend for couples.
Quirky and fun boutique hotel that's not as seedy as it might sound. Well designed rooms although some of the designs might be too much for some. Make sure you take your own teabags and cup unless you want to deal with strops from some of the staff.
My friend and I stayed here in June 2017 for 3 nights whilst we went to Roland Garros for the tennis. The room we stayed in was small, but beautifully decorated. We asked for a Sloth room with twin beds and all our requests were met. The hotel itself is small but has an honesty bar and a breakfast buffet if you require it. We didn't have breakfast as we were up and out to the tennis early each morning, but we did make use of the bar on our arrival. A great place to stay and really reasonably priced if booked in advance.
The decor of this place is great, with a really cool lobby, the staff are very friendly and professional, the bed was comfortable although I felt it could have done with 4 pillows rather than 2. Our shower also leaked slightly as the doors wouldn't fully close. The bedrooms aren't big but all of the amenities are there and the location is pretty good too! Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. We didn't go with breakfast, just popped to local bakeries in the mornings, and the carrefour around the corner is very handy.
I booked this hotel through booking.com. When i called up the hotel to request a specific room the hotel staff were extremely rude and they were mocking me on the phone telling me that they do not speak english. I am very appalled at the service, for such a hotel that you send alot of money on. If you want a friendly service place i do not advice that you go to this hotel.
Everything about this hotel was quality, I went here for my wedding anniversary and to make even more special my wife came back with a little present inside her tummy. Breakfast is great, rooms are great, staff are great.
Hotel was good looking, different with some effort. Stylish. Breakfast room was too tiny. But breakfast was Continental. But try to go as early as possible. Turkish bath had no relaxing place and no dressing area with benches etc. Our room was very small. Luckily we travelled with small backbags. No room for big suitcases. No place to open one and not much place for personal items. Some fixing could be done: change burned lamps etc. Staff was helpful and they spoke English. Unfortunately we dont't speak French. Location is nice and quiet. We think three stars is enough. There was a bar with self service and Happy Hour. We did not understrand how it worked. Fix something. Like the bed cloth to smaller one and give the customer a pleasant moment when entering the bed.
Great hotel, friendly staff, the location is ok. But the links to public transport make up for it. If you want a romantic short stay stay here :) The weather is cold, so take some warm clothing if you going now at this time
