Front desk staff allowed us to check in with our dog. They said if anyone asked just tell them he's a service animal. Upon checkout, the owners 'confronted' us about our dog, only to learn that their own staff allowed the pet without additional fees.The wife was particularly upset by the situation. We decided to check out because the wife became especially hostile. She called and then disabled our key cards which only made vacating the room especially long and painful since she followed me around the property inside and out yelling at me. What's taking so long? When am I going to be gone and seemingly did everything she could to make the situation worse not better. When we finally were completely moved out of the room I went to go get my deposit back which she refused. She said because of late checkout and because of the dog and refused to acknowledge the fact that we left the room spotless.

Room floor has not been mopped in a while. The floors was black. We wet a towel and went over the floor to clean it before our kids stepped on the floors barefooted. But other than that it was a great stay.

The front desk clerk gave me an incredible amount of hassle because the name on my prepaid reservation was my full first name and the name on my card (for the incidentals) had my initials then my last name - as in John Smith on the reservation and JB Smith on the card. It took over 20 minutes for her to sort it out with someone on the phone. I've been traveling for over 50 years and this has NEVER happened. And the only way it was resolved was that I had another card that had my full name on it - a card that is for my business and I didn't want personal charges on it but I had to do it anyway or I wouldn't have forfieted the room and fee for that night. Needless to say, I won't be staying at this hotel again.

The staff was great and super friendly. They helped with everything and made our stay wonderful. The hotel Had very comfortable rooms and beds. Would definitely go back.
