Broken glass by the pool carpets smelled in the lobby our towel rack was coming out of the wall toilet seat broken crappy towels
The roaches were out of control and the plumbing needs serious attention. The sink Pressure is so low the hot water doesn’t work and the toilet kept clogging up.
This property was disgusting. From the rude staff to the roach in our refrigerator, the stained sheets and towels. Blood on the walls. Broken plastic chair in the pool. Homeless people living outside. The fire alarm in our room was not hooked up what so ever. The disgusting carpet. Worst hotel we have EVER stayed in.
Upon arrival we took inventory of the linens and towels. The room had 2 dirty towels that felt like drying off with a cheese grater, the linens were stained with brown streaks (I don't really want to know what those stains were from!!!) and there were no linens or blankets for the fold out sofa even after asking for them. Luckily, there is a TJ Maxx about a mile down the road where we were able to purchase towels, sheets, and some pillows .........as well as some body wash and shampoo. YEP........none of these for the valued guests either. The customer service was lacking almost as much as the rooms. At breakfast there was no coffee. The attendant said that she would make some, then sat down and chatted with her gang-land friends. One should also introduce the attendants to the 20th century luxuries of soap and deodorant!!! There is nothing that will kill your appetite like the smell of B.O. from the attendant. I wouldn't stay there again if you paid ME!!!!! It's kept like a low class motel in a third world country!!!!
Do not recommend. Room smells dirty & we had roaches ! So nasty & disgusting
I had to find a hotel when my husband was suddenly put in the hospital while we were at the beach and his stay extended beyond our condo reservation. This hotel was close to the hospital and fit my needs perfectly. Hotel staff were friendly and the room was nice and clean. Having breakfast provided was nice, too.
good value for room just needed a place to sleep and this place was good for that quiet and clean
Room was clean and staff were very helpful. Plan to stay again when I go back.
We checked in late evening just as two busloads of younger tourists pulled in. Hopes of a peaceful evening were not looking likely but no we were wrong. These are well insulated walls not at all paper thin as at some hotels. Secondly the beds were lovely. Fresh smelling and beautifully tufted sheets instead of those dreadful bedspreads so commonly used by the masses. And were pleasantly surprised that the sheets and towels were changed even though we were registered for two nights. Usually the hotel will just make the beds in the same linen. Lastly the breakfast was comparable to any I've had at hotels and cleanly presented. As we were checking out there were carpet installers replacing the old carpet so anyone arriving will be enjoying the fresh new floor covering though honestly didn't find the pattern appealing. But hey new is new. Staff was friendly but not fake. A nice weekend.
WiFi didn't work, TV remote didn't work and the A/C only went to not-so-hot, couldn't get it to make the room cool which is not good in hot/humid FL. I've had bad experiences in the past with this chain and won't be coming back. M***l 6 or S***r 8 would have been better.
The outside of the hotel is nice. The parking area could have been bigger. The pool/area is very nice. My son enjoyed it and so did I. The personnel to greet upon entry was nice and cordial. The room... Entering the room and it's pretty nice size. It wasn't gigantic or anything but it was a very nice size. The door to the bathroom didn't shut all the way which I found to be odd. The chair to the computer desk was broken but I don't understand why it was still in the room. Cleanliness... I gave it four stars because after my first nights stay the housekeeper came to the room at 9am and that was odd since breakfast was still being served and she asked did we need anything and we told her some towels and she gave us some. When we left about an hour later I came back to tell her that we are leaving for the day and I thought she would have came to the room to freshen up but I guess not because it was still the same when we got back. Other than those small things, the hotel is nice. It's not the Marriott or anything but it's worth it. Now I don't like the fact that u have to pay a deposit at check in but u do get it back if u don't mess anything up prior to u leaving. The breakfast is nice. Hot items, cold items so u should be satisfied. Only thing bad about it is the fact that the dining area is super small. Yes I would recommend this hotel to others...
I had an Ok, stay but overpriced for in town. The room & the pool was very clean.
Mostly windy and rainy while visiting my 90 yr old Mom, so a large and comfy room came in very handy to talk and keep warm. Staff was very friendly and all was as stated in the reservation. Restaurants close by were great. close to downtown where I needed to meet with her doctors. Will stay again for sure.
My husband and I had a meeting to attend in Panama City, plus do some last minute shopping for an upcoming event. The location of this Hotel was perfect for our needs. The meeting place wasn't too far from the Hotel and the mall as well as other stores were right there for our shopping purposes. I am a light sleeper so generally while staying at a Hotel I'm awaken quite a bit by the noises. I didn't wake up from any noises from either the inside or outside of the Hotel. It was a nice experience.
Room was clean and quiet. Did not experience any problems with our stay.
I was scheduled to check in at 3:00 pm Sat the 25th. We had went on a two day fishing trip that ended earlier than expected due to the weather. So, we decieded to see if we could check in early about 11:30 am. When I went in to ask the lady at the front desk would make exceptions or even ask to seee if our room was ready.Matter of fact she said she had no idea of what has or has not been done. I explained this to another lady at 3:00 pm when we came back to check in she expressed her applogies and wanted to know who this individual was. Which I regrettably could not give her a name due to being upset and exhausted from a two day fishing trip with very little sleep didn't think to get her name. Overall it was nice stay the gentlemen overseeing the inn was helpful in any needs we had. the room was fair for the rate. A nice quiet stay.
The hotel is located in a quiet-enough setting, but the undisciplined behavior of Spring Breakers wrecked the experience. Numerous guests on the second floor insisted on horsing around noisily in the hallways to the extent that we had to call the front desk to impose order at midnight. An hour later, the police were called to arrest a drunken student beating up one of the girls. In addition, the 2-story hotel has no elevators.
Arrived there and was told there would be an extra fee because 2 extra people decided to join. Thought it was ridicilous since room had two beds (4 people total staying in room) and no other hotel has ever charged me extra. Hotel didnt have elevator. Had to carry our luggage but the stairs. Other than that, room was pretty clean. Free breakfast was good as well.
My two brothers and their families and I met at the Best Western in Panama City, FL for our nephew's wedding. The staff was very accommodating even with the excessive pool towels we required. The room for my one brother had a wet dog smell and the staff quickly switched him to a cleaner room. Room coffee not so good but the breakfast coffee in lobby is great.
Good hotel special for sleep .This hotel is near a 15 minutes to the next beach.
