I loved my stay here! The rooms were clean and the staff courteous, professional and helpful. The lobby was clean and welcoming. It felt somewhat like a lounge (a great to relax). I must commend the front desk staff Veronica and Chantell. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I love the balconies where you can sit outside, the view is not the greatest but I loved it! We will certainly stay here again when we return to Panama City (which we do about once a month!)

Had to leave my condo for some major repair work for 4 days. While I didn't like the location of this hotel, located off the street behind some buildings, I did not feel unsafe. Parking lot was well lighted. The room was very spacious, nice bath amenities by Paul Mitchell, large bathroom with plenty of towels. There was a mini-refrig and microwave in the room. The common areas were very clean and inviting. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. My condo was ready a day early and hotel was very gracious to let me have a late check out even though it was after 1:00 pm. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, very blah. Looks like some new carpet and new lobby. As usual, absolutely NO recognition from Platinum members...didn't even get a king bed...was told.."oh, sorry, didn't pay attention you were going to be here and we don't have any left." No comp anything for high value customers...not even a free bottle of water. Every time I stay at a Courtyard, I remind myself why I think this is the WORST property by Marriott for any member with status...they don't why stay here? If you just need a place to stay, it will do. But for Marriott elite members, they don't care and don't do anything to recognize your status. Positives: room was clean, quiet, good WiFi and shower. Staff was OK. Professional but not friendly.

Needed a room near Panama City Beach on July 28 2017. My wife checked rates of rooms in the area and found that the Courtyard by Marriott was the most reasonable at $160 a night and they had rooms available. Checking in the attendant said the room was $160 and with a Triple A discount we could get it for $130. I gave the girl my credit card, she handed me my receipt and my mistake was not to look at the receipt. When we got home I received my credit card statement and we were charged a total of $254.24 for the room.i called this motel to question this charge and they told me that the $254 charge was correct and didn't know why we were told differently. Gee $160 was the price they had posted on the internet. Room was nice but be wary of Marriot's false price advertising on the internet!

This is probably the best place to stay on this side of the bridge. Prices tend to be lower over here, but it makes sense to save some money unless you really want to be on the beach. Hotel is clean. Staff are friendly and helpful, but it seems like they are always one person short. Rooms are in good shape. Hotel is fairly new, or has been renovated recently. Decent exercise room. Location is safe and quiet. My biggest beef is their corporate breakfast policy. I'm a high elite level and get free breakfast at the other Marriott brands, but I have to pay for it here. I skip the breakfast and get something on the way to my morning location.

Stayed at the Panama City Courtyard for 5 nights during a recent business trip. Super clean hotel with personable, professional staff. Bistro on-site with a mini-Starbucks in the morning with cocktails later in the day. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Panama City. Good value. Location is convenient and staff couldn't be nicer.

Stayed for one night with my wife and infant daughter. Room was very clean and quiet on the first floor, with plenty of outlets for our phone chargers and my CPAP. Staff was very helpful and curtious, including opening the cafe a bit early for me so I could get my morning caffeine fix.

We picked this hotel because we were in Panama city for business during spring break and wanted to have peace and quite. That is exactly what we got. The hotel is nice, and our rooms had walk out balconies. Staff was nice and the coffee is good.

The hotel was not terrible. The bathroom needed updating and a good cleaning to get rid of rust and mildew stains around tub. My biggest complaint is that on the first night of my two night stay, the bathroom lightbulb blew out. Not a big deal. However after reporting it to the front desk, they were not able to replace the bulb since it was a circular bulb and they were out of them. There was another Marriott property on the same lot.....couldn't they get one from them? And there was a Home Depot less about a half mile away. They should have sent someone to go buy a bulb. The shower/toilet area is completely separated from the vanity area which made the area very dark and completely unsafe. I had to take two showers in the dark. This is completely unacceptable for a Marriott property. This hotel should not be allowed to use the Marriott name and not live up to that reputation. Don't stay here.

My husband was there for work, I was there to relax. Staff was very nice. Overall, it's okay. Room wasn't bad. Definitely no extras. Not even vending. Only the commissary (3.50 for a soda) or The Bistro. The Marriott brand behind this one had free coffee and breakfast for only a few dollars more, so we hear from other attendees. They did have a pool and a hot tub. It is several miles from the beaches. Right across from a mall and near familiar restaurants. We ate dinner a little further afield, so 4.5-10 miles away.
