It was a smell that I couldn’t get rid of had to go back expensive air freshener and candles kitchen utensils was very old needs to be replaced didn’t have enough bath towels for all the guests and the sofa in the living room was very low sitting on it was very low

Great Escape

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Laketown Wharf. The condo was great and exactly as advertised. Comfortable beds, clean, and plenty of room! It was a great escape to the beach!

Least favorite stay

Our room wasn’t fully cleaned when arriving. WiFi wouldn’t work, bracelets never worked anywhere. The elevators were a nightmare between the waits and some not working. Employees were rude. We go to the beach a couple times a year and never have had such issues as we did this time. Will not book again through this condo

The room was immaculate! The door lock was hard to unlock at times. Sometimes it would take us about 5 times of putting in the door code before the lock would turn. Batteries may be going out. The property, however, was not as clean as the actual room. There was food and trash all over the walkway every day. However, we enjoyed our stay!

Clean and Spacious but short of some necessaries.

Unit was lacking enough towels, toilet tissue, and paper towel; towel racket broken; only one tiny bar of soap, sleeper sofa was dirty, sagging and very uncomfortable; coffee maker broken and no pot; had small broom but no dust pan; manager/owner didn’t return call on first day with questions about TV. Despite inconveniences, kids enjoyed the beach and pools.

Not what we expected

The room was very misleading. When we arrived to Tuesday and when we arrived the slats for the bed in the guest bedroom were completely broken and unable to be used. We had to take the bed apart and put the mattresses on the floor to be able to sleep. When attempting to contact the host the number listed we t straight to voicemail the only way we were able to contact is through email and it was not until Wednesday until we heard back. The host did send maintenance to attempt to fix the bed however each time the Maintenance came my kids were sleeping and it was a huge inconvenience. Also, the drains in the guest tub and master sink had to be fixed as well. The walls were very dirty. The location of the condo was great. Just the cleanliness and overall up keep of the condo was not what we were expecting. I would not stay at this condo again.

This property was very misleading. I was assuming we had the view of the pool being as the picture was along with the others. There was pubic hair in the master bedroom shower. The queen size bedroom headboard wasn’t tightened to the bed, so that was shaking. The furniture is outdated as well. The air conditioner worked great! I was very disappointed and unsatisfied! Never again!!!

Not clean

The rental itself is located in a perfect area. The rental was not clean. The master bedrooms linen had been slept on causing us to have to wash. The bath linen also had a wet smell even after washing.

Not what we anticipated

This property is not what the VRBO listing describes. We booked this condo and paid balance and then the next day received an email stating that we owed an additional fee for a parking/amenities pass. We called VRBO to dispute this and we were told from the IMP department to not pay that and to go on and make the trip and call us for any problems at checkin. At checkin, the resort told us we had to pay the fee to park on the property. When we called vrbo back they would not honor their agreement with a reference number we were given. The owner of this property will not contact you either, nor will the property management company. The only front desk employees work for other property managements in the building so if you have an emergency or a problem- good luck with trying to get in touch with someone to help you. The condo is not very well maintained and down right dirty. All floors are sticky. The bathtub does not drain. No hairdryer or ironing board. The walls are dirty. Loose door knobs, light switches and receptacles don’t work good. The BR closet door is hanging off the track. The LR area’s sofa is so worn out and the one recliner is missing bottom legs. When we arrived at the condo the tv’s were not working. 2 were missing HDMI cables. Nice resort but unit sadly managed and maintained and way over priced, esp off season! Also we’ve been staying in VRBO places all over the country for years and we will probably not use again.

Unit was actually fourth floor. Change by vendor. Unit was dirty and not well equipped. Had great communication with vendor, but no action. For example, nonstick pans were old and scratched. Unusable. Spent day and a half recleaning un it, but had to buy own cleaning products. Facilities were mostly shut down in January. Location was convenient. Would not stay again.

Disappointed-Not worth the $$

Property not very clean. Hair in the shower drains. Towels tattered. Kitchen island broken baseboard. Broken towel rack. No extra cleaning materials. Half roll of paper towels… No extra. No extra toilet paper… notified property mgmt - response, “we’ll notify housekeeping.” No coffee filters. No ironing board. No hairdryer. Disappointed! Not worth the $$.
