This hotel has everything that you could want in a hotel stay! From the comfortable room, to the breakfast of champions... we found out that we could live in this hotel! Within walking distance of a block you have a Mexican restaurant, pizza joint, IHOP and much more!
This hotel has consistently great staff---from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the breakfast attendant. All were super polite and friendly. We were there for 3 nights and I noticed that because each staff person smiled at everyone each time they encountered anyone that it was contagious and that the guests started smiling at each other too. What a smart way to create such a positive atmosphere---and it all starts with a smile for everyone :) Everything else (room, cleanliness, and food) was great too!
I was able to get a room, last minute. Staff is amazing, very attentive. My room was clean, smelled good. Appliances fully functioning. Best night's sleep ive had in a long time. This hotel is within walking distance to a lot of good eats. Hot breakfast was great.
Near UCF campus, great location if you need to be attending college events. stayed there for access to Sharkespeare Theater . performance Anthony and Cleopatra . excellent free breakfast, several social hour event s Monday and Tuesday. area restaurants are great options. a bit north of Orlando and some extra time to get to Disney, Sea World, Universal , highways to access.
I took a large group of women to a conference at the arena around the corner from the hotel. I dealt with Sarah from booking to check out and everything ran super smooth. We checked in earlier than anticipated and she was ready for us. There was ample staff to assist us all, and they were all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and able to serve us all quickly and early in the morning. I can't say enough about the impressive organization. Every detail was thought through and proactively done before we asked- they even brought in a shuttle service for the weekend as an added bonus option. I travel often leading large groups and have never had this smooth of an experience. I will definitely be coming back here to this hotel again.
This hotel is quite nice. It looks to have been updated within the past few years. When checking in, the front desk clerk was quite accommodating finding a room that was away from any distractions. We were in Orlando for medical reasons and desired a room in which my husband could spend his first day of recovery with minimal interruptions. We couldn't be happier with the location. The staff has been accommodating and unobtrusive. The evening social was nice (for me, anyway). The breakfast was far nicer than expected with fresh scrambled eggs (regular and yolkless), regular and chicken sausage, fruit, yogurt, breakfast sandwich ingredients, and more. This property is clean, modern, quiet, staffed by excellent people, and close to the simulation and training business hub (as well as UCF). I highly recommend this hotel.
We use Marriott family hotels a lot, and have found this label to be a great compromise between economics and comfort. Have stayed in these for weeks at a time, and they're very consistent. This one, however, stood out for the amazing hot water, delivered instantly to every outlet at full force. Seriously, I looked for an instant heating system. Pressure for showers was excellent, even though place was quite full. Everything else was great, as always. Did not use pool though.
I've stayed at this location a number of times over the past years and it's always been great. This stay I noticed a decline in cleanliness and service. The problems included spotty housekeeping, the room was beat up, the room needed a deep cleaning including the uhpolstred furniture, insufficient internet and things not working well in the room. For the most part, staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again but would explore other properties first.
I could not wait till I left because it was important to mention. Grace at the front desk is amazing. I don't want to mention too many details so others won't take advantage; however I was amazed by Grace and the customer service. She was able to accommodate me after driving 8 hours with a small child and a six year old. This was something that will make me choose a Marriott property from now own versus the Hiltons. I travel often and will make the change to Marriott. The room was nice and cozy with a decent size bath and living space. The hotel does need to look into renovations, but that's not a big deal to me. They have a pool and nice breakfast area. Nice free breakfast also with eggs and meat and all the traditional side items. Only one elevator. Overall I would differently stay again.
It's convenient to have a hotel staffed by students at the UCF hospitality school. When I arrived I was greeted by a wonderful woman who couldn't have been more friendly. She's a UCF student who has clearly learned well and could teach the class. Great first impression and pleasant rest of my stay. I'd definitely come back
