These folks do understand English. They are pleasant and nice and will take care of any issues. There is no breakfast, true. But for the cost I don't see why there would be. For a place to sleep and work from or for a short stay this is a good value.
I stayed here when it was super7 now they changed their name no breakfast only coffee the bed was hard the bathroom was ok never stay here again the owners did not understand English but why the name change?makes u wonder
checked in early but was not able to get to room till midnight. We were very tired and my wife went to shower and the was water dripping from above the toilet. Had to call and wake up host because no one on duty after 11 pm. We had to pack up and change rooms. We did not even get a key for the second room. Host said to leave door open if we stepped out. Like I said it was very late and we were very tired or we would have left. Both rooms were in very poor shape cracking walls torn carpets. Both rooms had plugged up drains in shower, and toilet would not stop running. The bedding was badly stained and the room had a bad smell. We left window open all night. The power bar we had to use to charge phone was melted and burnt. We unplugged it. Very poor maintenance as well. The key would not work in rear entrance but would open without unlocking when you pull on it. This motel is very poorly run. Also I knocked over the complementary bottle of shampoo and when I picked it up I noticed it was sticky and was half used. I was grossed out. We will never stay here again.
What I honestly experienced staying here: 1. Room smelled bad & very musty when I first walked in. 2. Both the alarm clock & the microwave clock numbers were not able to be set along with parts of the numbers were burnt out so I was unable to make out what number it was so I wasn't able to use either. I had my cellphone, thank God, so I was able to use that. Did not go to the owner/guy who ran the place as I had lost confidence in even trying to communicate with him previously on the following cited problem. 3. Very unsafe> The problem I had cited and spoke with him about was a charred/black burnt extension outlet I reported to him as there could be a short in it and possibly start a fire, very unsafe not only to me but the entire building. His answer, "Oh, it's fine, someone probably just put a cigarette to it is why the black near the one of the receptacles." Clearly, it had been shorted or burnt from the black burnt spot around it. 4. Light by the sink intermittently would NOT turn on. 5. A/C power turned off and unable to use as of 9:00 am though checkout was not until 11:00 am. It's a good thing I got up early, took my shower, shaved and cleaned up before then. This was probably done to cut costs down for them, however, disgusting and very inconvenient for me as a customer and NOT right!! 6. Left from this hotel as soon as I could.....Totally disgusted.
Don't waste your money. Hotel staff was unfriendly, room was dirty and smelled terrible. We left a day early cause we were so unhappy. Coffee and muffins were terrible. Will never go back. The hallways were so hot and smelly. Not friendly at all. Very disappointed.
Really sad that only one other car was here. The owner is friendly, the room is clean, the beds are comfortable and the shower is great! We liked the park in front of your door set up. Breakfast was only coffee and a roll or toast. Traffic noise is not good.
I appreciated the convenience, location, and price. I arrived late at night after traveling. I obviously woke up the clerk but he was quiet and efficient and he took care of what I needed. Best value you can find!
Looks good from the outside; man at the desk was unfriendly and never even welcomed me; bedspread was filthy; floor needed vacuuming; everything was unplugged revealing how they are trying to "cut corners" to make the place profitable.
We had a two day stay, May 16 and 17. First arrival day was in the evening. Next morning was Okay. Skimpy breakfast, but, better than nothing. Roll and juice. Juice machine did not work but they brought out a pitcher. The room phone did not work and had the wrong number on it. We were off for a day of activity. By the next morning we had time and daylight to notice our surroundings We noted: For us, a good location. Quiet. Condition of the building itself appeared fine. Wall had some bashed in tears in the wall paper. Two places. Cleaning crew had removed partially used soap and shampoo, but, not replaced it. Made do.. My wash cloth had a big dirty oval spot on it. Sunlight showed dirt on floor, grease on chair arms. Table in room was dirty. Noisy heating and A/C Non functioning room phone. You just ended up wondering what you did not see….. All seemed to be a management issue.
The price on Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting weekend, even though it was 25% higher than normal, so was everywhere else. It was about 10 miles south of the CenturyLink Center downtown and was easy enough access to Route 75. The staff was very good about getting some missing soap and shampoo for the room. Wifi worked fine. Basic continental breakfast: Orange & apple juice out of a machine, NO fresh fruit, decent packaged muffins and cinnamon rolls, plain white toast, blah coffee--they just couldn't get it strong enough, even when they 'doubled' the amount, maybe quadrupling it is needed.
