Seems like a decent hotel, but there was a loud laundry machine our industrial fan under our room (233) that started loud wash cycles at 1:00 a.m. Continued like that for a half hour. I asked the hotel desk if they could do anything about it, and they said no. Promised to reduce the bill on our stay but did not do that.

Nice value for a downtown hotel, clean facility, comfortable bed, courteous staff and plentiful breakfast items.

We were in town to tour Creighton University. We were able to park our car and take the shuttle to CU and back. We also utilized it for the old market excursions. Very nice to have a breakfast each morning. All the staff were very friendly. We will stay again on our next trip to omaha.

Our stay was nice. No complaints to mention, but no amazing positive remarks either.

My biggest problem was the only actually street to get there was under construction, and basically had to go the only way to get there was though parking lots. Google maps couldnt even get us there!! The room was clean, pool was fine, breakfast was average. There is nothing in the area.

The bed was nice and the room was good. However, I could easily hear the conversations of those in the room next to me.

We did have a great time at this hotel. We dont have anyhing to complaint about. We would come back again.

Staff was very friendly. Area a little questionable but appears to be an upcoming area.

We were a little hesitant to book with this hotel just because we have never stayed at a Fairfield Inn before. I must say, the fears were completely unfounded. The hotel has a modern look and feel on the inside, and everything was clean and well laid out. Upon checking in, the employee behind the counter asked us if we had ever stayed at a Fairfield before and then provided me with all the info I needed for my stay. Once in our room, we received a courtesy call to make sure the room was to our liking. Very nice. The king sized bed was passable, and the room was adequately sized. Love the modern, LCD television. No hotel in 2011 should have those archaic tube TVs anymore. The room was good overall, but the bed could have been a little better. The free continental breakfast was also a welcome addition. Good options, seemed fresh. The price was comparable to other, worse-quality hotels in the area. The area of town that the hotel is located in could use some work. Omaha recently built the Qwest Center and TD Ameritrade Park nearby, so the neighborhood will get better, but for now there are loads of abandoned and condemned buildings. Doesn't emit the most friendly vibe. Ultimately though, it was the service that won me over. They were friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. The price was reasonable for the accommodations, but when you consider the atmosphere inside the hotel the price seems like a steal. Will stay again!

This hotel is flooded. The entire bottom floor reeks of stale, musty water & they constantly have floor fans going at all hours of the day. For a brand new hotel, someone really wasn't paying attention when they selected the location.

Good experience, staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean with free WIFI.

It was in a random spot in town. Not really near anything except the Qwest Center, which we didn't care about. The decorating was strange. The room seemed a little on the small side.

Very new. Close to new ball field. A free shuttle to the Old Market. Decent complimentary breakfast.

It was great weekend for my birthday!

Was in town for business. Was a good hotel for downtown meetings.

The first room they put us in was a little musty smelling so they gave us an upgraded room (mini suite) upstairs and it was great! I would book that room instead of the standard room during every stay! The best part was the desk staff, in particular, Chris (don't know his last name) he was great! Couldn't have asked for nicer people.

Thank you for sharing your comments about your recent stay with us on Orbitz. I have asked our engineering department to investigate the noise. Our laundry room and guest laundry are at the other end of the hotel from your room location. I apologize we did not follow through with your room bill. Please feel to contact me and I will follow up with your comments. Thank you again for letting us know about your experience. Regards, Christopher Johnson GM Fairfield Inn and Suites Downtown Omaha
