I would give this hotel an 8/10. First we arrived and the concierge was very terse. Granted, she was handling a very unruly wedding party just before us, so maybe she was urate related to that. There was a different night desk person who was extremely nice. The room was clean, bed comfortable. There were scuff marks throughout the room, but maybe the hotel is simply showing its age. The breakfast was amazing and breakfast staff was outstanding. It was freezing in our room, we did have a thermostat, but you have to call the front desk just to change the temp , which at 1am is not ideal.

Great, clean hotel downtown. Able to walk many places if needed. Wasn’t aware we needed to pay to park there overnight, most hotels wave the parking garage as part of the stay but it was $15 for the night so not terrible but I wasn’t aware of this until check in when we were already parked. Great breakfast spread.

we loved everything about this property. Most importantly it was pet friendly they even had treats and a present for our puppy. We really felt like our whole family was welcome. We’ll definitely stay here again and again.

We really liked the hotel! Our only complaint would be that was a rather small room and that it was noisy. Dodge street is right next to it and you could hear the cars while in your room and could hear the doors in the hallway slam shut as well as the people in the hallway talking. Beautiful area and amazing foodand shopping nearby.

Heat did not work. The room had a weird layout. The bathroom had stains on the walls. On Saturday the breakfast buffet was advertised on their website as being open until 10a but all of the hearty food (eggs and bacon) were gone by 9am. They ran out of plain creamer by Friday Morning and never stocked it again.

Honest review

Great location, clean, checkin service very professional and friendly. Checkout was easy, however, the checkout girl was on her phone and seemed bothered that she had to help us. Took her about 15 seconds, no smile, no thank you, just poor behavior for a front desk person. Bed was super comfortable and pillows were amazing. We will definitely return.

Freezing and no help

The rooms were freezing. My mom and I stayed in separate rooms on the same floor. There was a sign in the elevator saying if your room is cold call the desk. We did 3 times and our rooms were freezing still. On the last call they told us our rooms were 70 degrees and there was no way. We were so cold our feet were freezing and felt burning when we tried to warm them with hot water and microwaved towels. I looked for extra blankets in our rooms but just found old hamburger buns in my closet. One of the coldest nights of our lives and we paid for it. Don't stay here there is no help when the room isn't alright.

The hotel is conveniently located and not too far from the downtown and the Old Market area. Old Market is a nice walkable area with lots of shops and places to eat. The hotel room, was more of a suite than a room and very clean. There's a stove,oven, microwave and a refrigerator in the room and the bed was very comfortable. We were there through the weekend and it was very quiet at night. We went walking around the area and there are shops and a few places to eat nearby. There was a convenient grocery store next to the hotel, but it was closed permanently but there is a Walgreen's within walking distance. This was our second time here and when I visit Omaha again I will come back to the Element.
