The Royal Anne Hotel

Hosted an event for 150 people and mgmt was very accommodating and responsive to requests. The only feedback was that parking was a bit limited for those guests. Our room was good. As "echoed" by other reviews, the walls did let some sound through from guests that were out late. The continental breakfast was far more than I expected or experienced anywhere, with lots of variety. Fresh fruit, hardboilded eggs, and lots of baking and cereal choices.

This older, refurbished downtown hotel was a great location for walking access to the marina, parks, restaurants and a wonderful bakery. The hotel room was comfortable and had access to a large shared patio. The only issue was the limited number of parking spots right at the hotel but there was a parkade not too far away. We used Kelowna as our base to tour other locations in wine country and it was great.

I would stay here again because it is the best place to access the beautiful downtown, cultural district and lake by foot. Great access to locally owned shops, bars and other retail concepts. The rooms are fine, but walls are thin and overall asset a little dated. No directional signs to fitness center or parking so things just kind of flow ackward. Amazing breakfast and good price for the stay during winter. I will stay again for location alone.

Small comfortable hotel with a lot of history and class! Close to Marathon start and finish and nice banquet rooms for private post-parties. The newly renovated breakfast room is exceptional. Staff is all friendly and accommodating, and manager, Christa Park is truly outstanding! Team 🏃Violet shall return!

The hotel was nice, the room was comfortable, the location good. But we specifically asked for a quiet room and our stay was spoiled by a large group of college age girls who were accommodated on multiple floors including at least three rooms around us. The left their doors open (when they were not slamming them) and treated the hall as a common area to wander between rooms talking loudly and being inconsiderate. I spoke to the hotel front desk twice about the situation. Each time they temporarily were able to get the situation under control. Young persons traveling in groups are in need of accommodations and young people are lively and enthusiastic in groups. The hotel solution is to book them together separately on their own floor(s). We spoke to other guests at breakfast staying on other floors who said they experienced the same disruption. We recently stayed at at another hotel of similar size that was hosting a sports team and support staff. They were all accommodated on their own floor and we were upgraded to the top floor to be as far away as possible from any disruption. At checkout there was no acknowledgement of the disruption of our stay, no apology, and no offer of discount or other compensation. I can not recommend The Royal Anne Hotel and would not stay there again.

Great downtown location, friendly staff, decent room, great TV. Breakfast was average, everything processed, not much fresh stuff. Very limited parking space - some underground and some in the back alley, if you don't find a spot there, it is hard to find a spot close to the hotel, not very well thought of.

We just recently returned from Kelowna and I had to write a review on this wonderful hotel. It is right downtown, perfect for dining, walking and sightseeing. The hotel is so quaint and lovely. The attention to detail is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and willing to help you with any questions you might have. The complimentary breakfast was perfect and delicious. I would totally recommend this hotel and I look forward to returning to it again.

Music from the bars below the hotel goes on until 2am mid-week and guaranteed to keep you awake. No ramps or easy access into hotel so expect to carry luggage up several flights of steps to access lobby. No staff of course to help with luggage or anything else. Also had problems with being overcharged on my credit card which was still not resolved on check out and staff could not care less. Room was reasonable size but bed uncomfortable and low pressure on shower. Breakfast buffet same standard as a cheap motel

Arrived a bit earlier than check in time and we were lucky that the room was ready. Able to leave our bags in the room and walk around town and to the water in the fantastic weather of their labour day holiday . Such a beautiful lake and so many out enjoying themselves . Hotel is right on the Main Street with lots of choices for meals and snacks and variety of foods. The hotel itself is nice - both receptionists we met were very nice and helpful - on our return from our walk they even offered the check in biscuit as she knew we hadn't been offered it as we had arrived early - amazing attention to detail. Rooms are pleasant and comfortable - totally disagree with others comments on sound proofing as we experienced no problem. We were on second floor and able to go out to the balcony to watch the "world go by" after our dinner which was most enjoyable. Breakfast was included and nice and wait staff very friendly . Recommend this hotel to anyone

Very nice hotel very good room and location close to the lake great restaurants close by, great art and museums especially the Japanese garden. Breakfast and service excellent. Lovely walks near by the waterfront parks.
