The lobby, restaurant, bar, and pool area are nicely decorated and welcoming. The room was decently decorated and adorned for an older hotel. There's also plenty of free parking. The main issue is related to the tub/shower grout and calking around the sink. These could definitely use some maintenance as they were discolored and unsightly. Also, this was a pool side room so it would have been nice to have a warning from the front desk at check-in that music is blasted at the pool all day Saturday. There was no peace in the room until after 5. A minor irritant occurred upon entering the room when we discovered there was no TV remote control. Staff responded quickly to resolve the issue but needed two trips to find a remote that worked with the TV. To be fair, it was resolved fairly quickly and was not an issue for the remainder of the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room and the view were excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised that our room had been upgraded. We also needed to use the microwave, and the tall gentleman with curly hair at the reception kindly allowed us to use it.

Beautiful hotel. But when we got there the air conditioning was turned off in rooms. The rooms were unbearable hot so we left for a few hours to let them cool off. They still had not cooked off by check out the next morning. It made for a miserable and hot not.
