Very accommodating and kind staff! Front desk and bistro were great!

The hotel is very clean and new looking. My room was excellent. Another nice thing is the hotel has a large gated parking lot, accessed with your room key (the parking is free) to keep your vehicle safe.

The hotel had a large, comfortable lobby with a small restaurant. We had an early dinner there because of the rain and it was good. The room was roomier than the last hotel we stayed. It had a pull out desk and a small sofa which was used as a sleep sofa and a large bathroom. The elevators came right away.

Check-in receptionist was very help full. The view from our hotel room window was great.

The good: The price and location was good. The hotel was overall very nice and SUPER quiet! The bad: The "bed" was the MOST uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on. It was so hard, that we had to get comforters to lay on top just to get a little sleep. Our carpet was so dirty that our feet and socks turned gray. You have to pay for parking, which I've never had to do at a Marriott...I suppose it's because it's the Bay area!

nice hotel. room clean and quiet. very near quite a few restaurants and shops. would have preferred if the parking for th enight woudl have been covered by the room fee.

Nice hotel. Bistro is limited but ok. Across the street from outdoor shopping mall with nice shops and restaurants. Good location between Oakland and Berkeley. Even made it to Marin county and beyond via Richmond/San Rafael bridge. Any place else in the Bay Area beware if you are driving because traffic is horrendous coming/going to/from San Francisco, or Oakland and San Francisco airports. The hotel location makes the entrance/exit off the freeways extremely hazardous with traffic (and there's always traffic). If you're using taxi cabs you're better off (except financially). Location ok but not great for using the BART.

Seamless check-in, upgraded to view of the Bay because hotel was not full on Halloween, clean, they still have bath tubs :-) free wifi as promised, amble parking. I'm staying there again this weekend.

This is a nice place, typical for Marriott. Conveniently located.

Serce was not good. Right next to the freeway. Had problems with the keys opening the room door. They charge for parking

Great location if you want to stay outside of San Francisco. Although annoying to go back and forth over the bay bridge. Biggest problem I had was they charge extra for parking, which you find out about at the end of your stay. Also there was no refrigerator in the room or complimentary coffee in the library. The staff was the greatest part of my staff and very accommodating.

Our stay at the Courtyard By Marriott was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent customer service, great location for accessing BART (via the Emeryville Go-Round free shuttle), and shopping. The Bay Bridge Trail was a few blocks away so it was nice to get out for an early morning run!!! Highly recommend this location for any SF Giants fans!

Give an extra shampoo bottle for suites, the rest was good

Solid room for a 3-star hotel, but overpriced considering the location. Park was also very limited and the lot ran out of room

Great location, saved a bundle to staying in San Francisco. Just a ten minute drive over the bay bridge.

Hotel very nice, clean and accommodating! Appreciated the location, for my business need

We enjoyed this location as a stopover and a welcome relief from Bay Area traffic. we could park and access everything on foot. Parking price should be included in room price.

I was attending an event and the coordinator suggested this hotel for the entire group. After my arrival, I was immediately disappointed. The sheets and towels were paper thin, furniture was old and the room didnt contain a fridge or microwave. Also, better media entertainment such as movies or games for purchase would be nice. On the upside, the hotel is in a area with plenty of amenities.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to shopping, San Francisco, Oakland and Berkley. Although near a freeway the sound proofing is excellent.

Worked great for a one-night stay and shuttling back and forth between SF and Walnut Creek.
