Great staff. Bed comfy. Hotel seems more like an airport/conference hotel. For a 5star hotel it really feels like it’s missing those luxury touches. We paid extra for the breakfast and to be honest it was all quite underwhelming as only buffet style. No table service. You could order poached eggs etc but it was a basic add on from a stand up card by the self serve cooked breakfast section etc. I was expecting a more varied selection like eggs Benedict, salmon etc from a 5 star hotel. It was also just help yourself to hot drinks and had to ask for cups. I know that’s not problem but I would have expected to have been shown to a table and been able to order drinks at least. Also there are no fridges in the rooms. Although the sat nav took us straight to the property you do have to drive through the university campus again not a problem but feels weird for a hotel entrance.

Have been visiting my daughter in Nottingham and struggled to find a hotel that is quieter, modern and clean. I’ve found it! This is a great hotel with great staff. Location is lovely - on university of Notts . Very green, very spacious and lovely and chilled Will be back!!! This is our base going forward!

The room had a musky smell. There was a noise outside our room that woke us quite early in the morning. The flexipass worked for a while, went out and when we tried to use it to get in to our room didn’t work. Receptionist not very welcoming. Too far from amenities, swimming pool cant used it unless they specified the time they offer to you. We decided to go swimming the next day and the only available time to go is 1 pm.

Staff was so welcomeing on arrival. Smooth check in,loved the little brownie gift on arrival. They also managed to decorate the room for my partner‘s birthday with some towel art shaped into a cake which I thought was lovely and along with a nice message.
