Some areas of the hotel have been upgraded since our last visit including the Spa and it’s a massive improvement. Staff are friendly and efficient. We weren’t massively keen on the food in the Jigger Inn. However it was busy so maybe we’re in the minority there. Overall a very good stay, we’ll definitely be back.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcome and valued. Check in process was easy. Our room was lovely with a view over the iconic old course. Husband said the view was out of this world and would be to any golf fan. We didn’t eat dinner in the hotel but the bar on the 4th floor was lovely. There was a piano player and the vibes were amazing. Breakfast in the morning on the 4th floor was lovely, one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in any hotel. And the view while having breakfast was even better! Bed and room was great, bed very comfy. Room was very quiet and relaxing. Shower was great. The only thing we found not the best was the size of the gym. It was fairly busy and could have been double the size with the demand. But other than that, everything about our stay was 5/5 and would definitely return in the future.
