First room no towels and bad plumbing, then they stuck us in an ADA room that smelled like perfume and cigarettes, the bathroom had a shelf that was torn off the wall, then the third room (all happened in 10 min time) was another ADA room kinda was the best option of the three. It didn’t have a trash can, Missing a pillow, coffee machine broken, had to unplug the fridge since it was squealing and maybe looking on the bright side the ac barely work, so it didn’t get freezing inside. Not really sure how they received a gold award in 17. Tons of other hotels to stay at... this had the highest stars
The room was very clean and cold AC. The beds were very comfortable and towels very soft. We had a refrigerator in the room but no microwave. Me and my sister thought there was one in the room and I had packed some microwave meals. The printout I had refrigerators and microwaves in each room. Our rooms were too far from the front desk to walk there and back so we just went to sleep. The breakfast the next morning there had the best coffee and the continental breakfast was nice. We had to drive to the next town to have lunch and dinner but overall the trip was an success and we found some good deals including a microwave. We stayed two nights and left the next day. Good prices but false advertising about what's in the rooms.
The rooms were very clean and updated. Staff was very friendly. Housekeeping was always asking if there was anything we needed. Price was good. The only downfall was that the beds were full size and not very comfortable
The beds were comfortable and the towels were extraordinarily soft for a hotel. Best of all, the water pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water. We had a long, very hot day of traveling and sightseeing and it was wonderful to walk in to a room with the air conditioning already on. The one negative was that the continental breakfast was pretty spare. The upside is that we had a fabulous breakfast at Lily's Cafe, which is just down the road.
First, I would like to thank everyone at this hotel for making my stay top notch. The housekeeping and front desk staff are Rock Stars in my opinion, they made me feel welcomed and part of a family. They always asked how I was doing and if I need anything. They were polite, considerate, friendly and other all amazing people. I can’t thank the manager Mary Jo, (I think that is here name) for taking care of me. My room was clean and fresh. Breakfast is very basic, bagels, coffee, cereal and other items. Remember this is a small hotel off the interstate giving you a great room, with plenty of hot water and water pressure for you to wash the day away and a clean very comfortable bed to get a great night sleep. Very important, that you stop and get something to eat because you have gas station up the road from you with a subway and Mc Donald’s and that is it. Once again thank you to all of the staff at this hotel you are Rock Star, keep up the great work and I recommend this hotel.
I can't really speak to the overall value of this hotel. I had a room reserved online and I called the hotel to inquire about the availability and speed of Wifi as I am traveling on business and needed good internet access and this area sometimes doesn't have fast access. When I got the front desk person on the phone I was about to ask about the internet and I mentioned that I was booking a room and just wanted to check that I would be able to work from the room. I never got that far, when I mentioned I was booking a room she laughed out loud and laughed with the reply "Good look with that darlin." I asked her what that meant and she laughed again and said she was sure they "didn't have no rooms." Not true as was looking at available rooms on the hotel website as we were speaking. I only wanted to ask a couple of questions before paying. She was hurried, unprofessional and rude. I won't be staying there, so there's one room that's available. I can help it. I travel all the time and understand that the job of front desk agent can be stressful but this was uncalled for and hard to believe.
For an Econo Lodge this place was outstanding. If you are expecting something actually nice or close to the beach or Convenient to dining this is not the place for you. Clean, super soft towels, nice bed, well appointed rooms. All in all a great value.
Loved it! Super clean, quiet, friendly helpful staff. The room was freshly painted, VERY clean, the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. I would without a doubt stay here again. Heck, we haven't even had breakfast yet and I'm happy!
Bathroom could use some new tile that's the only problem. They have comfortable beds. Great interior design. Definitely up to date. Great service! Great breakfast! The shower-head is a little confusing but they have directions on how to turn it on. :)
This is a very reasonably priced hotels... updated decor... Comfortable beds... Spacious rooms... Fluffy towels... Extremely clean rooms... Easy to find... This is a small town it only has a couple of of places to eat and there is no Hotel delivery... I think only a couple rooms have refrigerators and there are no microwave except at the Lobby... My recommendation for this hotel to make it excellent would be to get microwave and refrigerator in every room since eating options are critically scares... the showers have steaming hot water and great water pressure... This staff if second to none... I met the manager, housekeeping ,and receptionist and they all went above and beyond to make sure I stay was comfortable and pleasant... Wi-Fi reception is good .. and you're only like 16 miles to the ocean... I'm repeating myself in hopes that management or the owners will read this post and get microwave and refrigerators in every room and that would change my review from average to very good...
